    thanks in advance
Clutch switch needs replacement. Get the starter relay checked as well. Also, fuses under the seat.

Best tire combo as per me:
MRF ZAPPER FS/FQ for front and MRF ZAPPER Q for rear. Only issue (not for me though) is that ZAPPER Q is tube type.

Hi all, having one issue with my 2010 ZMR, don't know its an issue or normal, whenever engine is hot...its making a noise like knocking whenever I release throttle or press clutch while driving. My friend saying its a Timing chain noise which is normal. Is it so or anything else??

Sorry friends was away from the portal for a very long time. Nice to see the new bike slowly reaching the showrooms.. I am bit worried about my bike on the following topics:
          a. Engine Oil - Shell not available in West Bengal for now, Veedol Super Swift - Not available at my place, have travel 200K.M to get it.. Any idea if I have any other option on good engine readily available...
          b. Fron tyre -Option only MRF Zapper FS/FQ, no other manufacture can provide a decent tyre.. Front tryre walls are licking air..

FS comes as default with ZMR...would like to know if FQ is better then FS?

Get the sprockets cleaned and lubed. Thereafter, get the chain slack adjusted. It maybe that the chain is slapping the cover when there is no/less load (depressing the clutch/leaving the throttle).
BTW, timing chain noise is NOT normal.

Is this just when the engine is hot, or anytime you're riding? Please make sure of the noise.
It could be that the rear wheel dampers are damaged. Would be a good idea to have that checked before you have the engine fiddled with.

Guys was busy in cousin brothers marriage so couldn't be active on the forum for so many days.

Ok seeing the review of the new ZMR hitting the showrooms, i also went to Shree Bharat Motors on saturday to have a look and ride the new ZMR. A white test ride bike was standing and contrary to most opinions bike looked good. Although it doesn't have lots of curves and designs in the body but this look simple and elegant.

Overall bike looks good and is not ugly as reviews state.

So i was checking the bike out when the sales guy approached. The conversation went like this:-

He- Which bike are you interested in?
Me- Of course the ZMR and what else.

He- Ok sir, lets get to the showroom and have a talk while seated down.
Me- Ok let me have a quotation and bronchure.

He Sure sir and then we had a talk and got all the price and quotation.

Me- Is exchange facility available?( Knowing from previous experience Hero didn't deal in exchanges).

He- Yes sir, by the which bike do you have?
                              Me- CBZ extreme 2011 model.

He called his surveyor and asks him to check out my bike. I just politely refused as i hadn't got the extreme but was on my Joy to showroom. By luck i had washed the Joy and waxed it just few days prior. It was standing all gleaming in sun.

The surveyor- Looking at your this bike, i can feel how you would have kept the extreme.

Me- I just smiled and thanked him for the compliment.

They noted down my number and details and when they knew i was in SBI they started to force me but i just said let me decide with family members and then will tell.

Then i asked for the test ride and they handed the keys.

                              Some of the pros:-

                              1. Seating position- The handle is little forward and thus the leaning posture. Felt quite roomy and feels like sitting on a much larger bike.
2.Footrest- they are little rear set which will help in cornering at much lower angle.
                              3. The rear tyre is a fatter 120/80 section tyre and looks quite bigger than the old model.
                              4. The tail portion looks strong and sturdy and also neat but will require the rear hugger to save from spray.
                              5. The seats are soft and are of breathing material which will keep your and pillions bums happy.
                              6. The engine- Its just feels like a grown up extreme engine as it revs quickly like extreme engine and the torque with the free revving engine makes the engine pull rapidly.

                              Cons:-

                              1. First thing if i go to buy the bike then i will take a pair of H7 bulbs of 55w and plonk it during PDI at showroom.

                              2. Bike fels slim that outgoing model which is good and both bad.
