Re: Hero Honda Karizma ZMR
friends today i searched for disc brake pads for my zmr and my friend's brother is a autoparts dealer i told him the problem of sooooo high prices of our bike's brake pads he gave me brake pads of ALLIED NIPPON company telling me this company supplies brake pads to hero motocorp although he's my friend's brother and I was having full faith in him still i checked a website after returning home
Brake Shoes, Disc Brake Pads - from Allied Nippon Limited, Enquire now at Automotive Products Finder
and found its true this company disc pad was having a mrp of Rs.156 and he charged me just Rs.120
I think you all would be knowing more so wanted to know both these informations are true na -my friend's bro and website???

Re: Hero Honda Karizma ZMR
Heard of the company for the first time. If what the website mentions is true, then i guess we have a solution here for the costly-break-pad problem. Cause it clearly says it supplies to hero too. But what i find suspicious is that, even if the same is supplied to bajaj, why is there such a difference in price between that offered by hero and bajaj? i guess the break pads of karizma is not the same as offered by this company which you just now mentioned. However, ssince you bought the pads already, try comparing it with the pads offered at the ASC and see if you can spot any difference. However, i have a feeling that the pads you just bought are not the same as that supplied by hero for karizma.Originally posted by Dr.Hemant Gajendra View Postfriends today i searched for disc brake pads for my zmr and my friend's brother is a autoparts dealer i told him the problem of sooooo high prices of our bike's brake pads he gave me brake pads of ALLIED NIPPON company telling me this company supplies brake pads to hero motocorp although he's my friend's brother and I was having full faith in him still i checked a website after returning home

Re: Hero Honda Karizma ZMR
I am hearing of this company for the First Time...I use Shriram Alpine Pads in my Karizma and is manufactured by the USHA group of companies....The quality is good and costs about 110/- for the front disk pads . There are many fake Nissin pads , and one should be very careful of this...Originally posted by Dr.Hemant Gajendra View Post

Re: Hero Honda Karizma ZMR
I do not know of their availability elsewhere.... I have the pads working well for the past 4 K + Kms and it had not scratched my disk like the OE RTR pads did...the pad still looks good for another 5~7 K Kms easily....I use front brake mostly and my rear brake is seldom used... Once the pad sets in about 150 Kms it's bite is good and there is no heat fade ...These pads should not be compared with the OE Nissin since they are made with different material ...Originally posted by abhi7013 View PostAre they available in Bangalore sir? Re: Hero Honda Karizma ZMR
Thanks a million for your offer sir, but it would be worth it if someone else along with me would join in trying it out, and you could send 4 pairs together. But if its only for me, then am afraid it would not be worth your time in sending just a pair. Will get in touch if i find someone else at xbhp or elsewhere who might be interested in it! thanks againOriginally posted by psr View PostI can send it to you if you want....and you can give it a try

actually my friend's brother sometimes rides my bike and helps me when needed so last year during my exams he did all changes in the brake pads of front wheel and I was actually nt knowing that he had put the same ALLIED brake pads previously also and thats what i have been using since a year or so and didnt found any changes braking is as good as the company ones.
there are some differences in these brake pads as compared with company made ones but braking is almost the same
i didnt found any differences....

Re: Hero Honda Karizma ZMR
I thought the older HH branded ZMRs didn't have Nissin. So is it possible to get the older cheaper OEM breakpads for ZMR?Originally posted by Divya Sharan View Post1200 each for front and rear (give or take 100).
