Moreover, I love the R15 for its stance. Makes you feel closer to the bike and its handling IMO.
buddy.. you are a Hero by Nature and yes.. I ride my Black Pearl in that so called sporty posture too but not more than 10 kms.. at-least it wasn't comfortable on the ZMR.. had the tank been raised a bit more, we can rest our chest on it and sit in that posture for like hours.. I love riding in that posture too.. but the fact is, the ZMR isn't meant for it and yes, me planning for that 'BIKE' too in next 2-3 years hoping to get a good 600+ cc bike.. not a naked one though :P

Yeah bro obviously. This was missing in the older zmr. And if it serves the purpose, (deflecting as much wind above the rider as possible), I don't care how it looks. There might be many people who have similar thoughts

By the way, a sitting in matchbox(like plane or car) cant compare with bike rider.

^^ I get your point, but what's with the license plate? Obviously people are going to think you are from another state who transported his bike here for work.

And not to forget. The person doesnt know the local language and speaks in half baked Hindi and English.. all together.. Hinglish and not the local language even a bit asking for directions.. lol.. i laughed at myself..

Although travelling by air or railways( not so now) sometimes work out to be cheaper and comfortable, but a biker will always prefer his bike. He relates the experience the whole life and when in future he travels by that road he will always remember how he went on that road by bike. Some of the unique experience of long distance travel by bike are:-

                          1. You can travel on your own wish and enjoy the whole journey. None can come close as you are open to nature.

                          2. Bike riding brings out how fit you are. The more fitter you are the more you can ride.

                          3. The looks on people face when riding with luggages and different number plates. Especially when i had stopped at hotels for lunch and park it among cars have to look at the faces of cars owners. Especially the look on their ladies companions as they think bikes are not meant to be ridden so long. Sometimes aunties and girls have asked me for how long distance i have come and have gone. Especially when girls ask me i like it.

                          4. Love towards your bike increases the more number of long distance trips you do. Also the trust on your bikes increases.

                          5. And this is for me as i never trust anyone driving and riding. Be it buses or cars or bikes. I always drive cars when i go with anyone and also ride bikes if i go with someone. Infact in last three to four years i have never been a pillion on bike or passenger in cars.

We've to ride it on highways @80 kmph to find the difference. All touring motorcycles with upright seating posture come with higher windshield.
