Two days of restless-ness... grrr..
Meanwhile, this happened. (I remember mentioning I've clocked 20K somewhere, that was a typo. Its 18K)

Constantly facing hard gear shift problem with my ZMR . Sometimes while up shifting, the gears stuck
and takes 2-3 attempts to engage properly
. Switched to Mobil1 FS 10w40 but still the problem persist . Also when I try to shift gears at 6-7000 rpm the bike vibrates like hell .
I don't brake rules , I merely test their elasticity ;)

For the engine oil, which oil are you using?
Change oil every 2k kms in case it is mineral.
Use only 10w30/15w40/20w40 oil in your bike.
Change @3500-4k kms in case it's synthetic.
For the time being, just pour out a little oil from the bike (take it any mechanic), say 20 ml and see. If the color is deep brown/black or the oil seems to have lost its viscosity, replace it right away!
i am using company specified oil .
i did not take care of the engine oil and the hh svc topped up at every 2k kms and changed at 6k kms,is it the reason i am getting a low top speed
and does it cause any future problems ?
hh svc changed the engine oil at 9.5k kms and now the bike has run 10.5k kms ,should i change the engine oil since one of zmr owner posted that mineral oil is good for only 1k kms .
i am planning to change the engine oil from mineral oil to fully synthetic oil,
shall i change and what are the advantages ?
which oil do you recommend ,how abnout honda cbr 250r oil?

For instance, I saw the full result only after 200 odd kms of riding post the 10w40 saga.
Get your clutch plates checked, maybe there's some carbon deposit/blockage (not sure, seniors???)
For the vibes part, get all nuts and bolts tightened. Better, open and re-fit the plastics all over! (read fairing

How old is your air filter?

What? Oil change at 6k? Dude, please don't do this to your bike! CHANGE @2k for minerals, 3k for SS and 4K for FS oils. Always. BTW, as Mohsin bhai said, the HH oil provided at the SVC last 1000-1200 kms max. And you continue riding with that deadly oil for 6k kms? Let the tank sticker say, top up at 2k and change at 6k. Its bullshit!
Change oil ASAP. Drain all the old oil. The engine will gulp down 1400 ml of new oil exact. Stay away from 20w50 oils.

the front disc oil is half the container do i need to fill it up and can i top up or i have to replace
which oil do you recommend and the cost ?
do i need to replace the spark plug as you know my bike has run 10.5k kms
and due to lack of change of engine oil for every 2k kms ,will it have caused any damage to engine?

Here in Mumbai it may cost you near by Rs.850 per litre, ZMR need 1100 ml oil, as per my opinion it wont make any huge effect if you fill 1ltr.
Disc Oil:-
Disc oil level is half way so i think no need to top up right now, but keep eye on it, top up will do . no need to change the oil
Change of Spark Plug :- Yes, Change it.
Change of Engine oil for every 2k kms :-
Its totally depend on the brand of engine oil you are using, If you are using HH engine oil then for every servicing you should change the engine oil. and for FS oil, you can change it for every 5-6k kms, Just keep in mind when you feel that your bike pickup has become sluggish, gears are going hard, Engine noise has increased then change the engine oil

NGK Spark Plug is the good choice and till last long, but it is expensive (Rs. 550), stock Spark Plug would cost you only Rs. 100 or Rs. 150 only. If you change to NGK then you wont need to change it for another 20k kms. i have changed to NGK at 13000 kms and till date covered 36k kms and still it is working fine

I changed with 2 cans because I was switching from a different grade oil to 10w40, and I didn't want to mix them.
Hence, I put in 1.4 litres.
For normal change, it is 1.1 L. I never pour just one bottle, because it usually is 900-950 ml only, thus you're filling at least 200 ml less oil.
Spark plug - NGKs will do. You'll get the exact name and model in the manual.

Done approx 150-200kms with the oil . Airfilter is 10k old .I don't brake rules , I merely test their elasticity ;)

No issues you can change it after some kms.
