Zapper Vyde is not available in this size.Originally posted by satyajitrc View PostOnly the Rear will be the 100/90 X 18 VYDE
REPLACE! Replace Air Filter and Sparkplugs every 10000kms for best performance.Confused whether to change my SPARK Plug or not??
Changed from the OEM NGK Conventional to NGK Iridium @ 9600 Kms. Now around 29300 Kms.
Now if changed then to what? Iridium or G-Power.
I suggest you to get G-Power,Which is VFM.Iridium is waste!

It is available in that size bro. MRF launched it recently and it is available only with MRF showrooms as of now.Originally posted by Aneesh@4GHz View PostZapper Vyde is not available in this size.
Ok, now about my bike.
I feel some problem lies in the rear portion of my kari. It sounds as if the chain is hitting the cover or the tire wobbling. The tire doesn't wobble according to my friends but due to this, I get crazy vibes. After I rip for 8-10 kms (>5K RPM) the problem settles down. Does it mean, there are kinks in the chain?Got a $5 head? Get a $5 helmet.

Since the tire had launched recently in 100 size...it may take time to come all dealers..Originally posted by Divya Sharan View PostIt is available in that size bro. MRF launched it recently and it is available only with MRF showrooms as of now.
BTW...how does it look width wise as compared to existing stock one...Last edited by veryhiphop; 08-23-2012, 12:22 PM.

Honestly neither was I aware of Tubeless MRF Vyde in 100/90 X 18 but only the reputed Dealer showed me so.
Nevertheless will post PICs this weekend if I install them.
Regarding Spark Plugs YES I do agree that they should be changed at 10000 Kms and in fact changed the earlier OEM at 9500 Kms.
But IIRC once PSR said the IRIDIUM can be changed at 20000 interval.
Hence the Query and as such honestly have never faced any odd problem with this Iridium which is being used.
Although I am planning to change to G-Power.
BTW should we buy OLD two year brand new PIRELLIS or MICHELINS?34567 kms and ZMR sold :(

if you ask me, i will always recommend going for good rubber , the tyre industry council of most of countries prevent tyres from being sold which are more than 6 years old, so 2 years should not be a worry.Originally posted by satyajitrc View PostHi Aneesh & Lokesh,

I understand your concern over degradation over time, but 2 years is nothing when industry benchmark internationally is 6 years
the type of tyre they have got on the duke, is frankly speaking suicidal and you are aware of the reviews it has got internationally, i am not convinced with the mrf quality and safety yetLast edited by worrisomebear; 08-23-2012, 05:55 PM.M3:15

have you tested the mrf tyre being referred wrt to Pirelli on the parameters you highlighted? is there a comparative analysis you can post here to depict what you say.Originally posted by siddharth_ZMR View Postbetter in terms of durability n puncture resistance... hopefully grip would be nearly equal....
'nearly equal' is a subjective term and specially in terms of grip of rear rubber , any parameters you have to measure the grip levels?
it would be helpful for all of us as well.M3:15

its not like 300ml for cooling and the rest for engine, all the total amount of oil is used to cool and help reduce the friction in engine, and the same oil is circulated through the radiator for cooling the hot oilOriginally posted by Divya Sharan View PostZMR is primarily air cooled (despite the fairing). Oil flows in the radiator and aids in the cooling process IMO. Its the same engine oil. 1.1 liters for the engine and 300 ml for the radiator... (1.4 L overall)
Correct me if I'm wrong.

before gng for PSD i was thinking about vyde but at that time it was available only in 17". since it is hard compound i believe it will have better durability and will also will be more resistant to puncture... cant give opinion on grip as i have not yet tried it....Originally posted by worrisomebear View Posthave you tested the mrf tyre being referred wrt to Pirelli on the parameters you highlighted? is there a comparative analysis you can post here to depict what you say.

Bumping both Karizma threads.
The ZMA and ZMR have the same chain case, right?
I wasn't able to open the chain cover even after removing the 4 screws as shown.
Isn't it supposed to be pulled out after removing all 4 screws?Got a $5 head? Get a $5 helmet.
