    • Last week I'd an accident.
      Got the right indicator fixed, but the fairing is rattling ever since.

      Got it tightened thrice, but still....
      If I raise the throttle at idle, it rattles like KHATAR KHATAR...

      What to do?
      Got a $5 head? Get a $5 helmet.

          • My mechanic's out of town.... Need to change engine oil ASAP!

            I want to drain all of the 1.4L oil and pour new one.
            How to remove the 300 ml oil? (one that goes into the radiator thingy to help cool the engine)

            Calling out psr sir, aneesh, ashwin, sriram sir and others....

              Guys i m confused about the city and highway mileage for zma model 2012...I m planning to buy a new bike next month and i am worried abt the mileage of zma..thats the only point which is taking my hands away from zma...i like the bike but due to its low mileage i am a bit worried...

              On the other hand i m also planning to to buy a Hunk or Fz...

              So guys plz help me giving ur views abt the karizma zma mileage...

                Just put in 1 liter thats enough as well, 1.4 is only incase of a clutchplate change

                  karizma would be around 30-35 in city, highway-45
                  zmr will be high in city

                  rest 150 cc will be higher

                    Loosen drain bolt, ride for a few mins till the bike's warm,rip the hell out of the bike. Remove drain bolt and let the oil flow out, and when it starts dripping, tilt the bike even further about 100~200ML will flow out and will start dripping again, keep the bike in sidestand for an hour. When its done, put in a new O ring and seal put the drain bolt back. Now fill as much as you want. Dont worry about over filling, if by chance you've over filled, then the extra oil can be found in the air filter box.

                      Mine had the same problem. At a particular rpm the body would vibrate.. So the mechanic drilled two holes on either side of the body and fixed a new nut there.. And spray painted it in black.. No vibes at all. If u have any access to an experienced mech then show it to him.. Are you from bangalore?

                            Ok, just to clarify, I'd put 20w50 oil in the bike thinking it'd reduce heat in traffic. It did so, but I lost on mileage, top speed and acceleration too.
                            Now, I want to put 15w40 in it. Hence, the full oil drain process.

                              Why are you guys are not trying Mobil1 10W40 Full Synthetic for ZMR?
                              Trust me Guys you will love this Engine Oil like hell.

                              SHOES would be changed this weekend for sure!!!

                              Went to a very well known Performance Bikers favourite local mechanic to check my Chain slackening issue.
                              My Chain was slackening every 500 to 600 Kms and it was very irritating to hear the Chain hitting the inside Cover.
                              Since I am on wider Tyres without Chain Cover cutting my Tyre is marginally angular to adjust the gap and prevent the TYRE scrapping.

                              Now due to this the Chain is stressed and loses the tightness soon.
                              Although problem solved the bigger solution lies in reverting back to stock Tyre specifications.

                              Will revert back to OEM MRF Tyres with Tubeless setting.
                              Only the Rear will be the 100/90 X 18 VYDE.

                              Battery will be changed and planning to install the Exide X-Pack VRLA FXK0 XPTZ-7 (7.0 Ah)

                              Confused whether to change my SPARK Plug or not??

                              Changed from the OEM NGK Conventional to NGK Iridium @ 9600 Kms. Now around 29300 Kms.

                              Now if changed then to what? Iridium or G-Power.

                              Planning to do all these by 30000 Kms!!!

                              Any more thing to do or look for specially at this juncture.
                              Will present myself with a new LID also.....
                              34567 kms and ZMR sold :(

                                Ashwath nagar?! Dude common explore your area man. Dream machines. Its near that second hand car show room. Ask anyone. They'll take you there. He's the ads mech! I stay near yellahanka and come all the way there for service. Just tell him and show that pic. Within fifteen mins your bike will be vibe-free! Do not forget to check out all the super bikes there.. Ducati, busa, yamaha, rajdoot, etc
