  • What is the average mileage clocked before you guys changed your sprockets?

I've clocked 17K in 18 months, no stunting/burnouts ever tried. Normal city riding and highway ripping.

BTW, there's no clunking sound yet but its a mechanical component after all.

Does any one has any idea? where i can get it done? i think Satyajit has done it last year? and how much it will cost?
It really looks classy... I had it on my previous bike.. You can get it done from any local mechanic, who knows about the bike electricals its not a big thing to deal with and you will get an additional switch maybe on the handle bar or some other place to activate all four indicators at the same time... but FYI... It will drink up your bikes battery anything .. and it is very much possible to have battery power leakage issue after this.... And ZMR being without a kicker .. you might end up Dhakka start very often..
My suggestion:- don't go for it.

        • Petrol Tank Capacity

          Hello Friends,

In the ZMR manual fuel tank capacity is 15.3 liters (minimum). Manual also suggests not to fill petrol till the neck of the tank. Does this mean just below the neck tank would hold 15.3 liters?

The reason I'm confused is because I have never filled the tank upto its capacity. I used to fill 6 - 7 liters only but when I filled petrol last week, the tank was full just below the neck at 13 liters. I already had around 500 ml petrol in the tank before filling. That makes it 13.5 liters. Still not sure what the actual capacity of the tank is.

Please put some light on it guys. Thanks

            Hey Mate,
thanks for your reply again. I will surely keep this in mind and will try them once.. I haven't got the bike yet.. I might buy it most probably next week.. I m just kind of collecting as much as info I could before buying the bike.
No body ever wants to go the bikes in wrong hands.. right?? moverover.. Karizma ZMR is kind of bike bought with Craze and Hobby and passion,.. rather than just buying a bike.. so.. need to take good care of it.. I m dying to write my review about the bike after I get it.

Same here. I guess 2.5 litres of reserve is included in the 15.3 litres capacity. Effectively, you can fill in only ~13 litres.

I have never filled it upto the brim though, max 9 litres in one go after one bar started blinking on the console. Even then, I saw that it almost came upto the brim.

That makes me think, is the reserve capacity 2.5 litres or 4 litres?

                • Coming Today to Office, on traffic light i slowed down and shifting the gear to neutral...and suddenly bike ignition become off...

I start in gear but it does not and also whole meter panel was off....turn off the ignition from key and turn on...meter was working....bring it to neutral and start bike but again it does not...repeat the process thrice in vain...

I was in middle of road and office was approx 6 KM away...was worry as bike was not starting......as i need to pull it (if does not start) and there are three flyover too between the office ...

After 3/4 minutes i press the starter button...after 2/3 push when bike does not start i give a throttle on start bike gives some hic-up and starts....

Anyone suggest what will be the problem..i will call my SVC today and have a word in this regard...

The ZMA-R is known to have problem with the ON/OFF Ignition switch...basically it develops loose contact, and hence fails to conduct Voltage properly.I think ZMR also uses the same switch...
The second problem of not starting is a bit confusing...was the bike panel and display, switching off everytime you thumb the starter.?.then your battery contact is bad or the battery itself may be nearing it's end.

Regards to Second Problem: Once i turn key to ON there was no switching off of meter panel even on thumb start...

                      • Added a Carbon Fiber Vinly to the Cover of Exhaust Pipe , looks cool .

Also changed the DUCT AIR Pipe which was damaged by mouse . Old Pipe has some kind of solution applied where it engages ( in middle portion of it ) Is it to ensure no small air leakage ?

I think you can get that strips in TVS showroom , check there in spare shop .

Seems that battery is not getting sufficient charging , may be you are riding more in low rpm with load on battery such as Headlight , indicators , horns etc .

Went to MRF Showroom to find that and retails for 2300 INR inclusive Taxes.

Any review or inputs on MRF VYDE???
Good news , just checked with a tyre dealer near my home he said VYDE are only available at MRF showrooms , company won't provide it to Tyre shops who sells other brand tyre's too .

Anyone going to MRF showroom don't forget to snap some pictures .

                        Thanks for sharing it .

I hope MRF also launches Zapper FY in 18 inch size .

Finding a good service center for our baby in Bangalore is the biggest headache.
No service center is good or bad , they are just ok wanted do more number of bikes service each day , so they only do basic things & wash the bike .
It is good to take a day off & get the servicing done in front of you . Sometime one got good experience from one ASC but other got bad experience from same ASC , cause mostly Mechanics are not same who serviced those bikes , so it is good to get the name of Mech who serviced you bike , if bike feels really good after service , on next service make sure that he services your bike .

Seems like some kind of loose contact at battery terminal , or weak battery .

i have done 40,000km on my bike ,now its the time to change the rear tyre need suggestion on which tyre would be good for zmr ,iam preferbly looking for tubeless tyre , is it M45 is avialable in bangalore ? if yes can anybody suggest dealer details or any other direct fit tyre

Yes i also thought to add carbon fiber on those black side pannels part & black plastic surronding meter console . Will do it later when time permits as sufficient amount of carbon fiber is left . But the Hair Dryer got fused .

So it may be loose contact , check at ignition switch connector & relay connector , spray WD40 there .
