    • Ok, so my bike goes for its routine overhaul session. (I have decided to do it every 10-12k kms depending on usage)

      ODO - ~23k kms

List of parts to be replaced/cleaned (old ones will go as spares)
      1. Spark plug.
      2. Clutch cable.
      3. Accelerator cables A and B.
      4. Injector cleaning.
      5. Sprockets cleaning.
      6. Air filter cleaning. (replaced 5k kms ago)
      7. Replacing brake fluid, DOT4 in both brakes.
      8. OEM N250R front pads as spare. Current ones good for at least 3-4k more kms.
      9. Mobil1 10w40 FS.
      10. Vibrations to be dampened using rubber bush(es) and double sided tape wherever possible.

All of these are being carried out at my private mech because the SVCs wanted to replace engine oil with 10w30 (expected) and I wanted otherwise. They were hell bent on replacing the oil as well and hence I backed off.
Now, I'm without a ride till Saturday night. Hopefully, the overhaul turns out good.

My bike also completed 23k this week. I brought shell AX7 and will be changing on this service. I am hoping that the service guys dont change the oil to the 10w30 oil of hero.

OT: Is there any good and cheap suction cup mount available other than GoPro which can be used on the bike.

Tell them not to change the oil else they may do it

Yes. Sealed engine oils are good till 5 years if kept in a proper place away from sunlight. If he trusts the place for authenticity of the products, then I don't see any harm with oils > '09 make.

Same issue due to careless mech, take a bigger bolt(next size) and gently hammer(just tap is enough) its tip into place, then screw it in. And you're good to go.

                  • front tyre bubbling badly...

                    Hi guys,

Sorry I haven't been online much and not able to follow the posts regularly.

I am facing an issue with the front Tyre of my ZMR as the front wobbles allot while riding with hands off the handle (not that I am doing any stunts :P ).... I have been reporting the issue to the SVC guys since last two services however they have not been able to figure out the possible root of the problem....

Whenever I ride my ZMR with hands of the handle, the handle wobbles badly and I have to hold the handle back. Problem is I had a fall last year and the handle is slightly turned to the right side after that and SVC guys haven't been able to fix the handle problem... Not even the bubbling problem...

Can anyone suggest what I can get checked to fix the issue??
                    PEACE!!!!\/

                    RESPECT!!!!

^ SVC should be able to correct fork bend if any apart from steering cone adjustment. I would not rule out the irregular tyre wear out.

Well.. Even I have been facing the same problem.. but its not there always.. it happens when I am on highways it corrects itself every 100kms and comes back after about 100kms.. i guess my bike goes wild when she is on the highways.. but I am guessing it can be air pressure issue or the heat on the tire during long rides whn it comes to my Bike.. for ur bike it can be a fork bend.. or could be with the alloy too.. take it to a local mechanic.. he might be able to identify it better than the SVC guys
