Yes, the HL assembly. Labor will be free for me, it's for an HID DIY. Now, I need 3 inches projectors first. Conventional ones are 2.5 inches IIRC. Need a little bigger one. Then, I'll smoke the reflector.

You know my choice already. And it just got costlier by 3 lacs BEFORE the budget came. God knows how much the revised price is now!

are you planning to put an hid too because it is a prerequisite for smoked reflector right?
i always wanted to do it but because of so many negatives, i dropped the plan
if it works out well for you then i will also try it

I have the 3" projector and half smoked reflector :P :P I was gonna sell it off including the headlight assembly..

but now decided not to as we are gonna modify the RX135 and we are gonna use the projector in it without the HID of course..

Can't note it clearly .
But there is also some noise is my bike on startup which will go out after 2/3 minits . The sound is something like tappet one but ASC guys said it is in all ZMR as it the start of oil motion through cooler/radiator . Don't how much it is true but not worried of it as no other problem is there .

RX with ZMR headlight will like to see it , please post photos when you do it .

The engine sound seems to be loud and harsh....and it seems some vibration too when you accelerate...

Also, i think there is no engine cold issue in your ZMR ....check at SVC...may be tapped are loose....

can you post some pics of your zmr with projector and smoked reflector and what is cost and the reason for removing the projector?
i am planning only for the projector head lamps, any idea on the cost , i am doing this only to enhance the looks of my zmr

I tot of selling the Projector itself.. but like i said.. I am fixing it on my RX.. just the projector.. gonna try and make it a halogen projector so that I can fix a normal H4 bulb and not the HID.. I got bored of the Projector, hence removed it.. besides. I was not using the HID.. I would not have used it even for an hour in total since i purchased it... also i was planning to go to Bhutan next month but for some reason had to cancel the plan.. HID & Projector are not good for a long ride as they dry out your battery quickly.. atleast it happened to me 2 times so didn't wanna take risk on highways that too on the mountains.. I would suggest not to fix it in case you tour a lot.. they are pretty fine for local use if you are not gonna keep your lights on for more than 10 mins.. also in that case.. you will have to turn off the lights every 10 mins and run on pilot lights for 3 mins so that the battery charges

so think twice before you fix it..

Well mine did not face any such issues. Neither did my friends. Recently had a ride at night and it was on for nearly 2 hrs straight and later I stopped for refreshments. So ten minutes hid wad off. And again for one hour the hid was on and I seriously have not noticed any change in battery life. During g2g too lighrs were on fir a reasonable amount of time. So two hours straight my hid was on without any issue. Am sure I could have kept it on for even longer

yes even in my bike there's no such problem cuz of this sound but this sound is weird & its not from starting as we many know..so i doubt SVC guys!!

yeah faring & few nuts are loose in my ZMR as its servicing is due so they rattle slightly when at high speed(accelerating)

but that will get resolved after proper servicing!! regarding cold start issue, my bike never showed any signs of it, though it had a faulty battery cuz of which the starting problem was occurring but after i replaced that battery, it became fine again!! I am not sensing any big trouble now..may be only cuz of service due since long its showing these signs..feeling relieved

When you go for service do check all issues...must be a minor one...
