Interestingly true! But, of all BB kits by RC, the 230cc for Pulsars turned out to be with "least" complaints.
Do you mean to say Joel's kits have got lots of complaints?? do you know of any bad reviews?? pls share it as i was planning to go for it for my Black Pearl.. now thinking about dropping that idea after reading your post...

Bro, I don't want to spark a controversy. But you can browse to any mod thread, you'll find issues.

A hot rodded bike can never have stock reliability. More so, people plonk big bore kits that are race spec and don't have endurance build. They're meant to be stripped off after every race season. With street riding, one can expect a few thousand kilometers on them. Also, with the piston change and reboring involved in the BB kits, one overlooks the other components like cams, tensioners etc which may not be in the best condition to mate with the added torque and bhp figures.

For RC kits, one needs to change at least:
Piston, bore (or get the existing block rebored), FFE, camshaft, spark plug and filter. Along with this, you must change all internals that have worn out. It involves around 1/3rd of the bike's cost for gaining 5 odd bhp's at the wheels. Not worth it. Stay stock!
          Got a $5 head? Get a $5 helmet.
Because everyone who passes, isn't a martyr!

You will spoil the refinement of your engine and neither will you have peace of mind. My advice is a stric no. I've seen many people regretting it. Enjoy the calmness of your engine. You could go for a filter. If you need accelerAtion. As ive done it. But I still miss the old sound

well.. You guys are right.. I mean.. what is the point in racing or riding a bike when you don't have the reliability of your bike?? thats the reason me and my pals got a RX135 and we are planning to make some mods to it.. by ourselves.. and see what we can gain.. not yet decided as we just got a bike last week.. waiting for our salary to start with the work.. meanwhile we are searching for a place to do the mods..

Yeah that's good. Don't do any kind of big modifications on your black pearl. The best you can do is you can change the filter. That's enough. In big modifications you will have to open up your engine to install big bore kit and all and due to that your bike's resale value automatically comes down drastically to less then 50% of the on road price, just because you opened up the engine. Above that, nothing can match a stock bike's reliability. I have some good amount of experience, that's why telling you. Anyways enjoy wid your rx135.

First video (VIDEO0006 - YouTube) is of issue of engine getting off after releasing a acceleration..and some times on start of the bike..the rpm goes up and down...after few seconds the decreases a lot and bike off...

The issue was with the injector....along with some engine parts too was changed....camshaft/cylinder kit/valves etc...

Second video (MOV05035 - YouTube) - Issue of engine cold start. When an engine is cold bike engine rotation was not normal on start...it fluctuates a lot and RPM too....but when engine get hot after 3/4 km...bike start works fine...it was like a carburetor bike start in winters....happens because of SVC people negligence in first video problem...they have not done there work properly in bike engine. They had to reopen the engine again to review and rectify issue.

                            Parts changes as follows

                            1. Head Assembly Cylinder - 3773 Rs
