    If this has happened for the first time.. could be due to fuel issues.. or air filter.. could be some debris in fuel/air filter.. so might also consider getting ur air filter cleaned... even after this if it happens very often.. then u should contact SVC ...

      Ok. I have a doubt. Say I'm doing 80 clicks in 5th. Then I turn off the ignition. So, no input from the engine shall come.

      What will happen? Will I get engine braking? Will I fall down? What to expect?
      Got a $5 head? Get a $5 helmet.

        I have not tried to turn off the ignition while riding my bike, but my bike's engine had stalled trice in the past - twice when fuel got over and once when it stalled on its own.

        In all the three instances, electrics were on and fuel supply was cut. With my personal experience what I have noticed is that the engine braking comes into picture at high speeds and the wheel does not lock, but you can obviously feel the sudden braking. In all the three instances I had to press the clutch lever to avoid sudden stoppage in order to avoid sudden slow down and vehicles hitting me from behind



        But, if the ignition is turned off at low speeds, there are chances of wheel lock resulting in a fall.

          guys i had a pending report of my mileage. Riding using simota filter on highways.. Mileage is approx 46.. Speed average abt 70 to 80. Using shell super. 6.3 litres

            That's great. Even I observed around 44 kmpl during my Bangalore-Chennai trip. I used normal petrol though. Speeds varied from 85 kmph to 110 kmph.

                pls clarify me guys.. i hav got some doubts regarding after-installation of filters.. am planning to fit it in a month or two and mostly will be using it permanently...
                so, my question is evrytime while i give my bike to the service center should i remove the filter and replace with the stock (so tat it doesnt affect warranty an al)

                or it doesnt matter even if i give with it ??

                  The bike will start slow down as if the brakes are applied.. but this depends on which gear you are that point.. If the Gear is High i.e.. 5th.. the friction will be less.. if you are low gear.. the friction will be more.... don't do that because it damages the Piston.

                    earlier castrol power1 racing fully synthetic 10w40 was good on karizma engines, but the latest grade from castrol 10w50 is not at all a good choice.Technically its not a match for karizma engines..

                        Found that they are going to continue with karizma ZMR (not sure about karizma R).. But the Fuel injection system PGM-FI which is a honda patented technology will be stopped and it will just be Hero Karizma ZMR FI (wehf.. what a relief).. im not sure if that will be as reliable as PGM-FI..
                        So no need to worry.. they are gonna continue with the bike.. and oh yes.. also found that they will be comming up with a 250CC engine.. building up with collaboration with EBR (US).

                          Recently had a Service..had only run 400 KM after service...will be going today in afternoon to SVC...

                            Massive wheel lock over a cow dung!
                            First accident in 18 months. Right side indicator busted.

                            Well, riding gear saved me from scratches. Few scratches on the fairing.
                            Polish would remove/cover them. No paint peel off...

                            But I need a new indicator. Any idea how much it'd cost?

                              price of the indicator or winker assembly is 242.13 inr
                              speed thrills but kills if you dont have skills

                                Winker may cost you around RS 240 including tax. This is without bulb.
