Thank God you are safe and nothing major happened. Ride carefully bro.

Winker may cost you around RS 240 including tax. This is without bulb.
Thanks for the reply guys... Feeling sorry to see my baby with a broken winker.
A noobish question - Do I get the silver colored reflector as well in Rs 242/- or is the reflector extra and I only get the plastic transparent cover?
    Got a $5 head? Get a $5 helmet.

First accident in 18 months. Right side indicator busted.

Well, riding gear saved me from scratches. Few scratches on the fairing.
Polish would remove/cover them. No paint peel off...

But I need a new indicator. Any idea how much it'd cost?
Ah good to know you are alright! I know someone who has those hard to tell, ceramic teeth. Pretty expensive in the 80's. Dung did the trick in his case too .

Now, now how come your so sure it was cowdung and not bullshit?

Please never let ZMR's fuel tank completely empty... ZMR's fuel pump is submersible type and if air gets into it, there'll be a big hole in your wallet.. Please refuel immediately as soon as last bar on fuel indicator start blinking...

          EDIT: Posting my query

I was using motul 300V 10w40 on my babe.. Now time to change oil again and I can't motul at shops anymore.. Mobil1 10w40 is available though.. I want to ask if Mobil1 is better than motul or worse?? Also I've 400 ml motul still left with me... Will it be wise to mix these two oils (in case I decide to go for 1L mobile1 can)... Experts please Guide me...

so, my question is evrytime while i give my bike to the service center should i remove the filter and replace with the stock (so tat it doesnt affect warranty an al)

or it doesnt matter even if i give with it ??
If your installing it permanently then my suggestion would be to forget the svc and give ur bike to a good private service center. No need to keep removing the filter and even filter cleaning he can take care of. Lik i do. But if u trust da svc more then i guess u should do lik how u urself suggested

this is not the issue with the service.. it could can happned even after the same day of service.. if there is any dust particles (debris) in the petrol.. it gets stuck and causes the fuel blockage.

                • Won the Race between ZMR and R15 V2.0

Hi everyone, today was really a great day in my life. I am a proud owner of the ZMR from the past 3 months. After buying the bike I was some what double minded coz my friends always used to tell, ZMR lacks in performance very much. It is just a touring machine, no good for racing, you could have went for R15 and so on. I am working near thrissur in kerala, which is 160 kms far away from my hometown, chengannur.

I was on d way on my bike on NH47, and met a YAMAHA R15 V2.0 on d way. I was just riding at the regular speed between 70-75. The guy on the R15 was constantly irritating me just by roaring his engine, overtaking me, braking, getting behind me, blinking his pass beam and so on. Finally, I decided to go for his wish , even though I was damn sure that I will lose (Even though I use to win many races, I have once lost against a P220 earlier I thought similar will be the case with R15 too)

Finally we reached a traffic signal where I gave him the positive sign by twisting the throttle and lighting up my pilots. LOL, all other guys surrounding us was looking at us as if we were aliens. Finally the signal came off, and wroom... Both the bikes flew in air.

Bt the funny part here is, after a couple of seconds I could see the so called R15 V2.0 in my bike's RVM Then only I could understand how much ZMR accelerates better than the R15. (My bike is in stock condition. I just shifted gears at redline for the race) Of course there was pretty much traffic on the highway and so I could reach a maximum speed of around 120 only. I think, if traffic was less, the guy could have taken me coz of the good top end.

So now my testimony to all
ZMR is one of the best bikes in the category if you wanna race on a "normal" road, not a "race track". The acceleration of the bike will never let u down, except for P220 :P and CBR 250 But by considering the mileage given by the bike (50+ on highway for me @ regular speed of 70-75), the cost, and the lifetime of the honda engine, we can forget that right friends?
RVM is a good tool to see your buddys losing behind while racing :)

                  • Guys i do not know if its the filter but then i beat not just one or two but 4 p220s!! I know its hard to believe but i did!! We were a gang of 8 with 4 p220s, 1 r15, two p180s and my zmr.. In bangalore on the way to NANDI HILLS you get a long long stretch of free highway.. So we all raced wen the signal went green!! two p220s went first but i picked up with them in no time and guess what?? I won.. Almost 2.5kms drag.. Near the ending i just looked back and they all were like 'WTF??''!!

Hi Abhi. Good you are in Bangalore. What say we drag next weekend? Same strip of road towards Nandi Hills. I will also call my friend with his 200 NS. Please PM me, and we will take it from there. Just for the record my 220 is not running Joel's FFE. Just a slightly modified head. That only helps acceleration a bit, however top-end is more or less similar to a stock 220. On a 2-3 KM stretch you should be able to overtake as before. Want to see how a filter can increase the top end of a ZMR or any bike for that matter.

                      • Today replaced the HID with Philips X-treme Vision 55/60 W bulb . Low beam bulb of HID finally died
I was actually planning to install Osram Night Breaker, but could not get it so finally decided to test Philips X-treme Vision

Let's see how efficient Philips is. Will test it today while returning from office

Correct...Fi bike need to be taken care...this is why there is an reserve of more then 2 liter of petrol...if user is riding in under reserve it may damage a fuel pump...which is an bomb in your pocket...so fill tank as soon bike get reserve...

Yesterday gone to SVC for the issue...during inspection bike suddenly getting very low RPM and it stop and for start need to push throttle with starter button... engineer check all the joints/cable and reset the same.

However; not find any issue today during ride to office...let see

Also, i notice the RPM on meter has reduced to 1100 RPM (5 cells) can ZMR owners check the RPM in idle mode in there ZMR...

Yes your friend was right. ZMR is not a track tool.

Dude, don't get me wrong, but you must learn to control your emotions on a public road. You can't endanger others for the sake of your ego!

Finally we reached a traffic signal where I gave him the positive sign by twisting the throttle and lighting up my pilots. LOL, all other guys surrounding us was looking at us as if we were aliens. Finally the signal came off, and wroom... Both the bikes flew in air.

4 months on XBHP and this is what you preach? You're patting yourself for riding crazy on a public road. Sorry sir, we don't encourage racing on public roads. If you really wanna race, ride down to the Kari Race track, Coimbatore or MMSC in Chennai.

Bt the funny part here is, after a couple of seconds I could see the so called R15 V2.0 in my bike's RVM Then only I could understand how much ZMR accelerates better than the R15. This is what I'm stressing about. "RACING" on a public road. It may be rampant at your place, but it doesn't mean you start doing the same. Learn to ride safe.

So now my testimony to all
