Aneesh i refitted my ZMR fairing 3 times myself but it won't stop the noise , svc guys firstly refitted but still no use , but when the ZMR trained mech got back after vacation they called me & he adjusted some nuts & it solved the issue .

Though at that time i got busy with spare shop so haven't seen which nut it is , so can't say . Just check with ZMR trained mech in other ASC .

They provided that stuff in shop manual .
Is they only changed the battery & all solved ? Means no blink of FI malfunction light ?
Some guys got there batteries changed but not got such issue of blinking FI light , as no one posted it yet .
Check with veryhiphop , as he recently got his battery changed .

For the complete set up I paid 3000. It includes smoked reflector, Angel eyes and projector.

I am currently using a P220 projector and P220 low beam bulb which is 55watts. Will plan to switch to 80watts or may be HID. As of now, I am happy with the set up.

        • Tires!!!

Since people are changing Tires I have a small question?

Are the available MICHELIN Sirac Street in 100 X 90 / 18" for Rear not good enough?

Since one of my Biker friend in Office has changed in his ZMA.
Similarly the front ones are also changed.
34567 kms and ZMR sold :(

The only problem I see with the rear tyre is Wet Braking! it is too bad. In all other aspects it is better than the stock.

            For offroading its too good.

Thanks, I bought it from 7th Gear Customs in Mumbai for Rs.1200

It was the only one in stock when I bought it. Why don't you try Keiti tank pads which are available on PlanetDSG : Motorcycle Riding Gear, Accessories, Apparel and.. There are some really nice tank pads they have available.

Buddy, Sirac is not the best for tarmac and definitely not good on corners.
Few riders in our group have used Sirac and are planning to change.
Only good thing about the tire is the offroading capabilities. Hence, I will not recommend this tire.

Btw - 100 profile tire will look very thin on ZMR too. I feel 100 is not the most ideal size of tires for ZMR 110 fits well and looks better to suppliment the looks of the bike.

If your riding is more on streets, highways then close your eyes and buy Pirelli Sports Demon 110*90 18" I have done 16,000 already on it and it has still got lots of life left.

If you can manage to find Michelin M45 then buy that as it is one of the best tires for Karizma's.

Yes, I am still running on stock battery which is Exide ETZ.

As far as tires are concern I am more than happy with Sports Demon although it costs a little more than others so what don't you think better quality and better handling is more important when you ride the bike.

                      SACHIN,
Honestly speaking I just wanted to hear the concerns.
Running on Michelin M45 Tubes after 9600 Kms onwards and done 24000 Kms till date.
Just had an after thought of changing around 30000 Kms.

Probably 110 x 90 / 18" will require Chain Cutting or Chain Removal also.
This is definitely a big head ache in Rainy Season and Chain Maintenance is a big hassle.

Entire body stickers ? Means you need all the following 3 stickers .
                            1) HEROHONDA with a curved broad line .
                            2) PGM-FI
                            3) ZMR ( Red color with black shadow )

Or just ZMR ( Red color with black shadow ) sticker .

And for both sides or single side ?

Battery is SF Sonic Torque by Exide only... 6 AH.. Couldn't try 9AH as bike was kept in SVC and had to buy battery separately and take to SVC... Couldn't take bike to any other workshops for mod as ZMR wouldn't move an inch without battery... 9 AH had about same height and exactly same thickness, only it was much broader...

Got it for 1650/- and got 100/- back for returning old battery...
Got 0-18 months free replacement warranty, 19-21 months will get new battery at 25% discount...
