    • Shaken not Stirred !!!

      Friends,
The inevitable happened. Crashed my ZMR yesterday while returning Home from Office!!!

Learned the importance of Riding Gears hard way.

Face down hit on the Road towards left side.
My Full Face Black LS2 just had a minor scratch and saved me entirely.
My Riding Jacket SHIFT had some impact on chest, belly and left arm but I was Shaken but Not Stirred.

Also learned that CABLES for TV Connection can be real dangerous.

Just started from Office around 07:00 PM and moved a kilometre from where I was supposed to take a Left Turn in a T-Junction.
The disconnected cable was passing thru diagonally which I could not notice.
This happened due to heavy Rains and Storms on Monday & Tuesday.

While taking left my Tires run over them parallel to the Cables and was thrown off in seconds.
Luckily I was around 30Kmph with my Riding Jacket, Helmets & Gloves.

Obviously ZMR took a left side beating with just scratches.
The SIX red marked places have been affected.
34567 kms and ZMR sold :(

      • Satyajit, very sad to hear that. I am glad to know you escaped unhurt and safe, thanks to the riding gear. In other countries there is a chance that one can sue the cable owner. Sadly, we can't do anything here. Heard the other day that on mumbai-pune highway some cable got cut and hit the neck of a rider, slitting the throat and the biker was dead.

We need to be optimistic; it was just an unlucky day for you. Accidents are part and parcel of biking. The bike can be restored and you will forget the incident soon and start enjoying the ride. Take care.

                Guys !
                Need help.
Can I fit 120/80-18 Pirelli Sports Demon in ZMR Rear?
If not which is the largest tyre size that I can fit into rear.

Also, Has anyone tried 120/70-18 or 110/70-18 ?

                        • Hi guys.. Its been quite a while since i have posted here..

I'm planing to ride from Bangalore - Chandigarh towards the end of this month.. The plan is to leave the bike at my grand moms place there and then go back in june/july for leh..

Just wondering.. where would be a good place to have the bike services? I'm just a little cautious of where i have the bike serviced (in Delhi or Chandigarh) because I've had the bad experience of my fairing being broken during service(in Bangalore) and then I've had to bear the cost of replacement...

so would be really be great full if you guys can help..

                          thanks
                          jagjot.

Now, if you can arrange stickers in price less than 2000 then i would be able to get the entire bike re-painted... but i'm also worried if the paint will be genuine or not... and also, if there is any breakage in the Fairing on the inside, then i'm screwed big time..

But anyways... if you can let me know the prices of the stickers then it will be really helpful... Thanks!!!!
If the SVC guys there are ready to order the stickers then get from them , as i won't get them below the printed price , ( & even it might goes higher as i found Satyajitji got mirrors for 215 /- per piece where as i got it for 285/- per piece . )
So may the taxes of state govt. making difference & also i need to courier / speed post the stickers to you which also need some 50/100 rupees .
And i was still waiting for R sticker for veryhiphop from around 1 & half month but it haven't arrived yet .
So if they are ready then get from them .
But be 100% sure that you use origional paint & get it done from expert . But best bet it claim as many part as you can in insurance & remaining in warrenty as ZMR comes with 3 year warrenty. Cause with new parts no worry of any internal damage or paint .
