Thats what. I heard 120 is not possible in ZMR w/o cutting the chain cover. Maybe I'll stick to a 110 since chain cover is imp. to me.
          @rreneav1987 nice 3D pics man.

I finally booked my Karizma ZMR (white) today!
The asst. Sales Manager at the showroom said that luckily there's already a white ZMR in transit, headed for the showroom, and I should get it in less than a week!

However, I was very disappointed and surprised to know that they charge 2% extra on card payments. I thought it was only the small time shops that charge this extra amount. Any idea folks?
I was planning to make the entire purchase on credit card due to lack of ready funds.

I'm thinking of writing to Hero about this.

Congratulations... hope you get the bike delivered soon. I dunno about other places but the showroom where I got my bike from (Max Motors, BLR) charged the additional 2% for card payment. I wasn't even informed about it initially and only realised after I got the card receipt.

I don't really think Hero can do much about this as the 2% service charge is levied for processing the payment. While the company doesn't regulate for same prices throughout all showrooms, I don't think they shall do anything about this either rather I think they can't do anything about this.

I did my payment through NEFT. & wasn't delivered the bike until they got the amount in their bank account. Went to the showroom @ 10am. Got the payment done by 1pm. Gave them the NEFT receipt. Bike was ready before me. But, wasn't allowed to take the bike home until 4.30pm when the amount was registered in their bank account.
All in all, a very nice bike which is proven over all these years. Reliability is the key word here. What use is a bike with all the horses if u've to take the bike to the SS every now & then. I think u'd know if u've done ur R&D. But, still u cud've bought a CBR 250 or don't u like the new ZMR.

Thats the processing fee which needs to go to the bank, irrespective of the party it comes from (you or HMC). One can argue and get it nullified though.
I booked a Yamaha Ray Z back in my hometown with my credit card and 10 min of talking them down saved me the 1.75% surcharge.

Instead of NEFT, why didn't you simply pay in cash? :what: ATM withdrawal limits? I'm paying with credit card because I don't want to block Rs 1 lakh right now, and would have preferred making use of my next month's salary for this.

Yes, I've done my R&D. The reason for my finalizing on the ZMR is it's riding comfort, reliable and hassle free maintenance, and the technologically advanced proven Honda engine.
Well, CBR-250 would have been my first choice, had it not been for its intimidating price and hunched riding posture! From the photos I've seen so far, I didn't like the new ZMR at all - looks more disproportionate than the current one! Projection head lamps are a welcome feature though.

Yes, Divya, the processing fee has to go to the bank, but it's the merchant that should pay this. I read the first page of the team bhp link u sent (thanks for that), and the folks there feel the same!

I will write to Hero about this today. Let's see what happens...
I'm not very good at bargaining/negotiation, so I'm not counting on being able to talk them to waive off the extra 2%

I am using 110/90-18 PSD in my ZMR since last April without any issue and moreover a big big thumps upp of PSD... My elder bro is using PSD 120/80-18 for his 10+ years old Karizma... Still rocks man!!

Easiest option would be to google search for XBHP image and choose the one according to your liking Download it. save it in a pen drive and take it to the nearest stickering shop.. He will do the rest of the job for you.. Its as simple as that

It has been in the market for the past 5-7 years. hasn't succeeded yet. Mostly its a gimmick. Various combinations/methods have been deployed so far.
