@psr sir, did I do it correctly? Should I lube it again within 1k kms? Or it is good for 1k at least?

I would say you have done a thorough job of it

..regarding time for re lube, it depends on the chain tightness,and your riding style...Though I merely apply slight grease on the inner surface of chain, I do it every 800~1,000 Kms...but the main criteria is to listen for drive chain noise...when it becomes audible in normal driving, it is time to lube..

Sir wouldnt adding oil to fuel produce white smoke from silencer?? Just a query as thats what i have heard from my mechanic

1ml per litre would not produce any noticeable smoke.

The dilution is 1:1000 and so no problem here....the normal engine consumes a much greater amount of engine oil

Had done 31k kms on my stock sprockets. Getting them replaced, putting back the stock filter and trying to cover the air box cover's holes. Also changing oil using the same rimula. Hope the burning smell stops.

Got a chance to ride alok's bike. The engine sounds so freaking refined!!

may be you also should check brake pads and front fork oil and seals and accelerator and clutch cables

Accelerator and clutch cables were replaced 1k kms back. Front fork oil and seals will be taken care of in next service cause sprocket was to be replaced immediately.

Mate were you sprockets worn out...coz mine are still in great condition....after 33k kms...!!!
I did get my cone set changed 2 days ago...air filters were changed just after my ladakh ride and running without the Snorkle just as Divya's bike...!! I would be replacing my swingarm bush soon...coz i there is a little play that has made its place in the bush....!!
Got my radiator fins cleaned and straightened..now theres ample air intake there too..!!

Matey i got it sourced from a close friend from Bangalore...has done a lot of selling for xbhp guys..Navnish...but he is outta town at present....The brand was AOQI...its PICC certified...had got it with a 1 year replacement warranty.....Costed around 3k

P.S - fill normal petrol. Speed/Shell etc etc are the same RON 91 petrol. All get petrol from the same supplier and there's no difference in octane levels.

Quality "may" vary. But quantity "does" vary. Quality may vary depending upon the adulteration, but the Xtra Premium thingy or the Shell bunks' claim of providing superior petrol is nothing but pure bull crap. They add only additives, but in no way does that add to octane levels. ALL petrol bunks in tier 1 cities have 91 RON petrol and villages have 87 RON petrol. Our bike digests both. You may fill Xtra Premium once in a while, but not always.

P.S - Get petrol filled in the morning, 6 AM types. Physics plays a good part here.
