Not only during monsoons, a 4300K bulb/HID would give proper illumination over an 8k 365 days a year.

As long as the OE Paper filter is in place, no harmful dust can get in.....The snorkel reduces inlet noise and also provides a difficult path for dust,thereby protecting the OE filter from dust loading for longer period.

Have been using a 4300k since more than a year now...and the output is just amazing and surely better than a 8000k...!! in the dark its much brighter than the 8000k...also during rains it proves to have a great visibility....only issue is during rains when the tar roads get wet and the yellow street lights fall....its then that that the usual halogens take the battle..!!!

Carried out the best possible chain lubrication today.

1. Bought 1 kg Shell multi purpose grease.
2. Dipped the whole chain in it before leaving for office. Car pooled in a Toyota Camry. 167 bhp is pure fun.

3. Came back the same way early around 4. Put the chain in the sun to dry after removing the extra dripping grease.
4. Let it dry for an hour until the grease hardened a bit.
5. Put back the chain and chain cover.

[MENTION=32286]psr[/MENTION] sir, did I do it correctly? Should I lube it again within 1k kms? Or it is good for 1k at least?

FUEL/FUEL GAUGE Issue.. not sure which.,

I fill fuel for 500 rupees Gauge shows half tank., after 50 kms shows a point lesser then half.. after 70 kms it shows the last blinking point.. it never shows the fuel @ the middle area like 2 points in fuel gauge

How many liters does 500 fetch you?? Each point in fuel gauge refers to 2 ltrs of petrol.. and usually when in side stand.. most of the fuel moves to the left side of the tank where the float is located.. this is probably the reason..

Do you fill for 500 after hitting reserve or after emptying full tank?

Give it sometime to stabilize. Sometimes my bike shows 4 bars when leaned over on side stand. On bringing it up, the gauge starts blinking. But, I then leave it straight for sometime and then 2 bars come up. Its all about movement of petrol in the tank.

P.S - fill normal petrol. Speed/Shell etc etc are the same RON 91 petrol. All get petrol from the same supplier and there's no difference in octane levels.
