Sorry didnt understand your point exactlyOriginally posted by 111diablo111 View Postthat's nice..& do proper run-in of your bike before opening throttle properly
One more question , how do know the amount of fuel in the tank ? When i got the bike the showroom guy had filled around 1L of petrol and the first bar on the fuel indicator was blinking , then i added about 3.5L and still that same bar kept blinking and there is no reserve ka system as well , so how does one know the amount of fuel inthe tank ??

Proper RUN-IN implies adhering to 60-65 kmph @ 4000 RPM for the first 1000 kms. Service the Bike soon after to change the engine oil.
Yes it will blink. Please DO NOT RIDE @ that Fuel Level.
For all our Fuel Injection Bikes the Reserve is around 3.5 litres.
Always keep that FUEL except in some rare emergencies.
Once AIR passes through the fuel pump it will hurt your pocket by 9000 INR.
Maintain Fuel level above that. Prefer to do FULL Tank. Run for 400 plus Kms and again do Full Tank.34567 kms and ZMR sold :(

My bro usually fills his tank with rs.50 petrol and goes to college and comes back, mostly once a week he calls me from road side with his tank empty, we fill 30rs petrol and ride smoothly, no probs at all... 15K completed....Originally posted by satyajitrc View PostMadrockz,

Ideally fuel pump will cut off as soon the fuel supply is stopped so it should not be a problem. But if fuel pump conks off then 10k for toss if its out of warrantyOriginally posted by Ivin View PostMy bro usually fills his tank with rs.50 petrol and goes to college and comes back, mostly once a week he calls me from road side with his tank empty, we fill 30rs petrol and ride smoothly, no probs at all... 15K completed....

help required
Hi guys..m an irregular visitor to this forum , apologies for that.
Had few questions :
1) during times of hard braking da rear wheel locks very frequently...is this due to the tyre losing traction due to wear & tear? (i have completed 18000km on stock tyres )..or is it something to do with brake balance..i.e. uneven distribution between front and rear brakes??
2) At times during quick pickups i am facing a strange problem..da RPM revs up quickly widou increase in speed?is it somewhere relarted to chain?or gear or clutch??
hopin to get solutions from u guys

Locking of any wheel is dependent on the braking force applied...As the tire wears out ,and looses tread, it tends to slip more.

Any Bike is susceptible to clutch slip as it ages....I think at 18K on ODO you can have your clutch plates checked for wear.
