sounakray Agreed. u dnt see ZMR's much. But, do u see ZMA'a a lot. But, then again the thought of carb bikes brings the starting issues associated wid them.
I cudn't post the pics due to internet problems on Airtel 3G. So, posting from a cafe now.

The Shell AX 7 has the important ZDDP at 1~2 % ,and so provides protection against wear, esp., the drive train..it also helps in the engine running at a lesser heat. Stick with this oil and the engine will last longer..

Knock...knock....did I just hear AX7? The old seer (me of course, all the pun in the world intended), in one of my ancient posts, voted against Rimula the great and went for the humble AX7.

Though our bikes are FI which really helps in cold starts, a little idling to warm up the engine would allow it to behave as we want it to behave. I have seen the ride becoming rough during the initial run during the mornings if it isn't warm.

I can strongly recommend you this one:

I had ordered one from DX.com ( Airsoon Sport Digital Tire Gauge - Free Shipping - DealExtreme ) one year earlier for my car (Ford Figo Diesel Titanium), and it's working great till date. I always carry it in my car.
Don't let the "made in china" tag fool you! It's very accurate, has illuminated display, and has a sturdy build! Check out the reviews.

Disclaimer: Shipment from DX.com takes around 3-4 weeks, but ALWAYS reaches you. You may wish to check your local stores.
Thank you for the suggestion, have noted the link.
Will place the order as soon as I can

To-day I went to buy Shriram Alpine front brake pads of Karizma for a friend and was Shocked to hear OE Nissin pads were available for 250/-...Not to miss the golden offer I asked the seller to show the pads. Sure enough it was Nissin with Model no and Nissin etched correctly, but the pad material was not the same. I guess these people get the original worn pads and just stick the pad material and sell it off , as OE replacement.
So please be careful while purchasing the Brake pads with Nissin markings

more importantly in North India like Delhi/NCR where min temperatures are already below 10 degrees, its necessary to warm engine properly no matter if bike is carb or FI.

Awesome finding sir! Will stay alert for this *new* scam. So, that means any <1.2k pads (OE) are fake, right? (meaning prices haven't dropped by a single paisa, na?)

To the best of my knowledge the OE brake pad price had remained stable after it came down to 1,200/-..

The OE pad is made of Organic material of slightly dark brown in color and the Metal particles filling is Mostly Copper and Brass, which can be seen .
