It is the best oil and go for it with eyes closed. Trust me totally, you will not shift to any other oil. Moreover it is easier to get in kolkatta as its head office is in Rajendra sarani marg.
Thanks for the feedback i will go for Veedol super Swift from next service.. Any kind of special care that I need to consider while changing from AX7 to super swift?? if any please state..

No, its a 1:12. Top speed was limited to 112 kmph by me, else it could do ~300 all the time.

Hello everyone, I got my Hero Karizma ZMR on 06th Jan I've clocked 330 kms. Should I go in for an oil change now, and then another oil change at the time of first service? If yes, please suggest.

        P.S Sorry for the interruption.

Congrats on your purchase of a great bike!

Yes, that's the best thing to do, to get the initial debris out.
I did my first oil change at ~250 km, with the Hero oil at the SVC. Then I had to change again to the same oil as part of the first servicing, and then drained it, and filled up with Shell Advance AX7

I'll skip oil change on my second servicing and change with AX7 at home again.

BTW, why are you sorry, and who and what did you interrupt? :O

Looks like it's "parked" on a ZMR rear seat????

Between can anyone throw inputs regarding Ceat vertigo tire? what are the available on-offroad tire options for ZMR?

Congrates man!!! I used stock HH engine oil till 10K KMs and then changed to AX7 and still continuing with it... AFAIK Semi synthetic engine oil should be used after completing 5K KMs, please correct me if I am going wrong somewhere.

                  Enjoy riding!!!

There was a separate discussion going on an I barged in. Anyway, I'll take my ZMR to the SVC and get the oil changed, tomorrow mostly. Thank you!

Yes, @antan_shank, I've also read that using SS oils before 5k Km can be harmful for the engine, but @psr sir had assured me that he had tried the similar Rimula on new ZMRs and they are giving good performance and fuel economy.

I'm no expert of engine oils, and simply went with the suggestions of more experienced and expert members (along with some online research of my own)

True I agree if PSR sir is certifying then it should be okk.. But when I was new with my ZMR and also to xbhp.com Satyajit da from kolkata suggested me not use SS be 5K and FS before 10K.. Hence when I crossed 10K I switched to AX7 and since then I am so satisfied with the quality and price of it I never ever though of going for FS Get my point??

Now it's your personal choice to opt for what!! I just went with my instinct... and happy with it..

I had used Shell Rimula R4 in a new ZMA bike with 400 Kms on odo , and the bike settled down very well . It has good acceleration and FE , and owner is happy ...bike had completed 3 K + Kms and still runs on Rimula . But I do not encourage others to do the same...
The Karizma is made with close tolerance parts with good material, hence can handle a lot of abuse without much complaint...A little care and ZMA will serve it's owners very well.
So do not worry about using SS in new ZMA ...
