The additional lights are usually fitted on the crash guard in ZMA which can be fitted after removing the lower cowlOriginally posted by satyajitrc View PostFriends,
Beyond these conditions additional lamps with proper relays are necessary.
Firstly, this is used in special cases and hence safe for electricals too.
Secondly, you get the desired result also.
However this is the reason I posted something on this page few threads ago.
Can some noble souls throw some ideas and thoughts on that?

In ZMR you may have to fit light weight lights on the fairing only.Last edited by psr; 08-03-2011, 07:52 PM.When Was The Last Time,You Did Something For The First Time.

Stayajit, Sorry Sir. I would not recommend any aux. lights fitted for the highway usage than relying on the good 55/60w.Originally posted by satyajitrc View PostFriends,
Probably we are banging our head needlessly for simple Headlamp.
My point is whatever you do there are always some restrictions and disadvantages.
Till a certain level in city Night Ride for 50-60 kms the headlamps even with 55/60 W is OKish.
Some cases where there is Highway and there are no potholes it is good enough.

I have seen bikes in Ooty/Kodai have seen with yellow aux light mounted on the handle bars. They do not cause much problem. I'm not sure if ZMR handle bar is friendly to take up aux light mounting and if at all would that be a placed for focus. These are my personal thoughts.RX100 1996 | Karizma 2004 | Karizma-R 2011 | RXZ 1999 | RX 135 1998 | RX 100 1993 | CBF150 2005 - 2011

Fitting in the place of Front License Plate in ZMR not anywhere alse.
The clamp will be able to take that, have seen that.
Doing some work for one ZMA-R with some Noble X-Bhp Members in Kolkata.
Keeping my fingers crossed. Basically I am more concerned on Electricals.
Again THANKS a ton looking into this aspect.
But do you agree that 55/60 W is sufficient in extreme Night driving???34567 kms and ZMR sold :(

If at all you had tried all the 55/60w bulbs offered in the market and none provided enough light to aid your riding, then you may carry on the work if you are confident will do good to you.Originally posted by satyajitrc View PostBut do you agree that 55/60 W is sufficient in extreme Night driving???
I would like to retriate that extreme night riding on a two wheeler is dangerous. If had to explain would be like deviating the main topic here.

If you want to fix it at the front license plate then u should be able to find a very thin dome just about the width of license plate and thing more than that is not viable as the front suspension of Zmr is smooth and at max compression the front wheel mudguard touches the license plate. If you fix any thing fatter than license plate then the chances of getting it crushed are very high if you unknowingly hit a deep pot which are very common these days due to rains. So select the bulb with caution!Originally posted by satyajitrc View PostThanks SRIRAM,

I have not chnaged yet dude!!! I am using the stock bulb only... Its just on high beam the light spreads in spots .. sometimes it looks "Z" Image in itOriginally posted by vvijkumar View PostI did not understand you.Is ur bulb stock and still splits the beam(which is highly not possible) or changed to xtreme as according to previous posts u were searching for it and getting the split beam.
If you had already changed the bulb then why are you confused between the xtreme and HID?

.........
Cheers
