That is because the ZMR has 35/35 watts bulb, and avenger has 50/60 watts. Change your headlight bulb to Philips Extreme Vision 50/60 watts bulb .cost MRP 600/-.or else Philips normal 50/60 at 80/-.

yes it will easily as shreeni is using 120mm sirac on his zmr.

Hot Topic for Everyone here.. Headlight issue
When I bought my bike, in the 1st Servicing I had lowered the refelector as it was not pointing or refelecting correctly.
Go for HID for complete satisfaction... H4 Bixenon HID. It will cost u around Rs.2600/- OR you can go for Phillips Night Breaker as suggested by everyone.

Dude, Good to see you still visiting this Thread.
I went to Metro Tires on Saturday and bought Pirelli Sports Demon 110/90. It costed me Rs.3800/-
For Front tire I have taken Duro 90/90 which is for around Rs.2600/-

As long 120*90 18 it should be fine. However please check if there is a need to cut the chain cover from inside.

All - Finally after 1 month's long wait I ll get my bike back. Will post complete details by tomorrow

Is this your first bike from HeroHonda ?
Cause poor headlight is the feature of HeroHonda
But ZMR has good light than other HeroHonda Bikes.
Go for something higher like 55/60W Halogen or HID.
Browse some back pages in this thread you will find a lot more lightning discussion.

Though i have not changed the headlight yet bt i feel tht HID wnt be of much help in heavy rain and fog... the stock lights are blank even in little bit of rain... experienced it at plenty in yesterdays ride...
philips or osrams will be better

                        • I heard that HID with white lights are really bad when its come to rains and wet roads in night.. Yellow is better. Are there and HID with yelloe light tint.

HID is better than philips and osram however in heavy rain it does not help either. I m planning to add projector now lets see how it works.

                            • I think 120 section tyres are designed for broader rims.. They fit into ZMR's rim but tyre profile will change a little.. (like width will decrease a bit and height will increase).. Not a matter of concern though... Just my thought.. Maybe I'm wrong so experts please shed some light..

Matter of concern will be only when due to this changed tyre profile (although very little) will cause some additional pressure at junction of tyre and rim which may cause opening out of tyre from rim wall...

One more thing I want to ask... Turning radius of shorter rim diameter bikes will be lesser so it will result in better handling/cornering; then what is the advantage of larger rim diameter??
