Re: Hero Honda Karizma ZMR
Thanks I thought as much, does anyone here know who exactly could one complain to if a hero service centre charges absurd amounts? While I inquired at an svc near my place, he quoted 2300, but I very well remember paying under 1.5k the last time.Originally posted by veryhiphop View Postapprox. 1200....

Now SVC cannot charge extra on parts since the application (provided by HM) they are using for billing is linked directly with HM spare store...

Thanks for the info. Went back to the same svc, guy claimed it was a miscommunication and he thought it was for both so he gave a rough figure. Seemed like a genuine mixupOriginally posted by veryhiphop View PostCheck the packing ..price always quote on the packing...also while billing check packing part no and the part no mentioned in the billing it should be same....

Re: Hero Honda Karizma ZMR
There are 2 types of rare disk pad... The one that was coated 2300 is of old stock from Hero Honda, the 1200 one is the new one from Hero.. But I guess the quality of 2300 is better though not tried it personally. My SVC had both of them....Originally posted by snehithpereira View PostThanks I thought as much, does anyone here know who exactly could one complain to if a hero service centre charges absurd amounts? Re: Hero Honda Karizma ZMR
Ok so now assuming that the guy didn't really do a mix up but actually does have this 2300rs pads. Are they considerably better or is it just simply old pricing?Originally posted by rreneav1987 View Postyes.. I am not able to note any difference.. i haven't applied hard rear braking ever since the tire change as the tire slipped often.. so I cannot comment on this mate..

Re: Hero Honda Karizma ZMR
If you ask me I won't suggest you to go for this.. As this is twice the current price and I am dam sure it will not last as long as 2 new pads of 1200... So I opt for 1200 pad and finally happy with.. Rather it took me 2200 to change both rear and front, still saving Rs 100..Originally posted by snehithpereira View PostOk so now assuming that the guy didn't really do a mix up but actually does have this 2300rs pads. Re: Hero Honda Karizma ZMR
It was used with ZMA, ZMA-R and also 1st lot of ZMR. I guess the new pad with lower price are available from mid or end of 2012... As I still remember, when I changed the brake pads I have to wait 3-4 days for the lower price one... The old wth higher price was available....Originally posted by veryhiphop View PostAs per my information from the SVC.....Yes the brake pads comes earlier was for Rs 2300...and its for ZMA.....when a ZMR was launched the price has been reduced to 1200....
Had to change the rear one though there was almost 1/2 meat left with the pads...
