Re: Hero Honda Karizma ZMR
Yeah, I mentioned the same. Its only a temporary solution for time being. One has to replace it with original cable later at convenience.Originally posted by rreneav1987 View Posthey buddy.. yes.. this is possible on all bikes as well.. the same happened with my friend's ZMR when I was there for a visit in Chennai.. he just took my bro's hunk and told me to fix it.. i went to my mechanic and he did the same thing.. but this is just a work around and not a permanent solution.. use it till you can get the original part as it is not as reliable..
Even I don't have any idea what that movie is. Its a low-budget movie and the hero is not Mahesh Babu.Originally posted by rreneav1987 View Post
In MRF's Website, there is a TL type too along with TT. Maybe its not available in market yet. I heard many versions of MRF tires being launched soon, such as Zapper wyde in 100 section for 18 inch rim too.Originally posted by veryhiphop View Postno its tube type only....HH Karizma (Current) || CBF Stunner PGM-FI || Honda CB Unicorn Dazzler

MRF Vyde 100/90-18 and Zapper Q 110/90-18 are already in the market. Zapper Q is available in both versions and the Vyde is TT. But, being a round profile tire, it looks thinner than stock tire.Originally posted by ravi@17bhp View PostIn MRF's Website, there is a TL type too along with TT. I was referring to TL versions being launched. I should have been more specific.Originally posted by Divya Sharan View PostMRF Vyde 100/90-18 and Zapper Q 110/90-18 are already in the market. I was referring to front tire (FQ) and not rear tire; sorry, I should have specified it.Originally posted by veryhiphop View PostWhen i inquired about the tyre with MRF dealer couple of month back ...they said no TL tyre of zapper Q...

Re: Hero Honda Karizma ZMR
That I don't know. I have posted the same query in Tyres thread. Divya saw my post there and mentioned me here for it. I thought Divya had been talking about FQ and not Q all this while here. Now I realized Zapper Q rear tire is available as TL tyre. Thats some great news.Originally posted by veryhiphop View Postok..is Zapper FQ (Front) is better then Zapper FS (Comes with ZMR) .....
The thread pattern appears similar to R15's front tyre. Of course, that doesn't mean its a performance compound like it. Only we get to know if anyone uses it. This tire is a stock tire on Dazzler in 17 rim size. The grip was decent (I used dazzler before) but I can't compare it to Zapper FS, as it is ages that I used this FS tire on my ZMA. I can't recollect its grip.

Re: Hero Honda Karizma ZMR
My rear brake pads have been almost completely worn out, this seems to explain the skidding I have been facing with my rear tyre recently.
My question here is, apart from the standard replacement breakpad from hero, do I have any other better option, any third party break pads tht might fare better than the standard one?

None!Originally posted by snehithpereira View Postany third party break pads that might fare better than the standard one?
Shriram Alpine is an option with decent bite, but not as much as OE. RTRs pads suck! Stay stock.
