here are some pics (sorry for bad quality)

I think only few of the fins are damaged...it will work as rest are fine..

If you want then can change whole unit...

as for the cost someone here has mentioned earlier approx. 1000

Damage to fins are not covered under warranty as its a owner usage...how they use it...

There are couple of reasons why you are feeling the refinement...

The first one is somewhat of paradox... at subconscious level during rains your riding becomes smoother, meaning your operation of the clutch, throttle and breaks is instinctively given a gentler hand so you will feel a smoother ride...

The second reason is the moisture content in the air. It so happens that the higher moisture content in the air during rains act as a Fuel Octane booster and the engine runs noticeably smoother than when the weather is hot and dry with lower moisture content. Changing the oil will not help so enjoy the ride and the rains .

Rain cools the environment around us.....and also the air ....and cool air is dense...and dense air has more Oxygen....hence better combustion and refinement..

                      Me too felt the same.

What knowledge i have regarding engine oil, i wont suggest you to change the grade of the engine oil that has been mentioned by HH in its manual. yeah a little bit will do .. means you can go for 10w40 or 5w30 or 5w40, something like that... though i may be wrong ... its just what i known
Replace the words "I have to" with "I choose to" and notice the difference in how you feel.

Yes but again original Karizma had a specified Engine Oil as 20W40, IIRC.

But probably due to logistics HH has made it simpler for all vehicles.

Similarly ZMR uses DOT-4 Brake Oil but has the entire same setting of ZMA using DOT-3.

Although I am using this with very good results.

34567 kms and ZMR sold :(

                            • Bulb for ZMR

                              Hi Friends,

I am planning to buy brighter headlamps for my ZMR , I don't like white light of HID so was planning to opt for some 55/60 W bulb , please answer my following questions regarding this :-

1)can you please suggest me which one I should go for OSRAM or Phillips and which particular model?
2)Also do I need to put a relay for the new bulb ?
                              3) Suggest some good shop in bangalore to buy and how much will it cost bulb, relay(if required) and fitting ?
4)Can fitting the bulb void my bike's warranty ?

                              Thanks.

                              Regards,

If you need blue/white light then suggest to have philips Blue vision / Osram Night Breaker...if you required normal (yellowish ) 55 W go for any ordinary bulb...made by philips (aprrox 55 Rs)..or you can change it from spares bulbs of you car

Also, you can go to Philips X-treme Power..it has 80% more light..(approx 900)
