Absolutely true. I remember my trip last year to Yercaud, a TB with 2 people was climbing uphill happily whereas I was busy shifting gears.

rreneav1987 on my victor it was just a small rod of metal tht prevents the movement of the handle one blow to it and the bike is yours...
I absolutely know that the bikes are meant for different purposes and thats what i mentioned :-) the RE can do 100s constant all day long and they are good on highways except i dont like them personally in my own experience..

And i also mentioned they are just not meant for race.. but again if the person is skilled then he can make me eat his dust with even a splendor which was probably not the case i faced..

Besides we just wanted to see if the riding skills can make the RE beat the zmr and in both cases zmr went way ahead.. :-)

Thank God it is not easy to pull out the ignition wire on zmr..

Me and my friends have played with my friends pulsar though we never broke the side lock.. my friend parked his p200 on the side and didnt side lock it.. then we were saying we are gonna start the bike and take it.. he was saying you cant as you guys dont have the key.. and went to the tea stall.. me and my pal manojmsoni pullednout the ignition wire and took the bike to the owner who was shocked to see us with his bike and key in his hands.. but i never knew breaking the side lock of a new bike would be so easy.. now i feel i should get those disk locks..

Hell yeah.. infact all bullet fans would.. i have had many bullet owning friends who hate TB just bcoz of the sound itself.. so much so that they dont consider TB as a part of bullets.. like they say in west, there are bikes and then there are harlies; in india these guys say, there are bikes and then there are bullets ! :-)

I read this quote multiple number of times in this forum.

A BULLET CAN CRUISE ABOVE 100 ALL DAY LONG
Let me tell you, this quote is bullshit.
In olden days maybe, it was true, coz bullet was the only tourer in roads.
But now stuff changed.

A RE makes at least 10 times more vibrations than a ZMR (You know even the ZMR is not vibrationless). So 10X vibrations more between ur legs... If ur gal is with you that time, she may get an orgasm. LOL

Also, RE is NOT AT ALL stable at high RPMs. i.e, above 100, it is at a higher RPM. The engine feels like it is about to burst. Personal experience. My bro owns one. My friend got one yesterday

Well.. i was talking the capabilities of the engine.. and yes.. it is possible to ride a RE at 100 all day long.. i sure cant but a person who is used to the bike sure can and my friend has done it provided he doesnt ride it rashly..

Also when we say the bike can tour all day long above 100, we are talking about the performance of the engine and what it is capable of.. even the zmr and zma is capable of and no doubt our machine have proved it..

Riding a bullet at 100 may not be comfortable for us as we are used to riding smooth rides and trust me there are people who ride constant 100s on bullets..

I perfectly understood bro. Because my ZMR's inner headlight assembly clamp is broken. So it makes a jerky sound at lower rps. Earlier I used to notice it a lot and was quite concerned. But now I am used to it. (Credits: HH service center. The told me the part will arrive in 5 days as they made express over, and 1.5 months over, still no call)

After RE started building UCEngines, the vibrations are only trying to settle down a bit. So my question is, why people are going to buy bullet rather than the CBR 250/Duke200/390?

In all departments like comfort, refinement, mileage, power, handling & high speed stability, these Japanese machines literally suffocate the RE.

Still....

Boss, Bullet is a craze for many & thats it. There is an age old saying abt bullet; when u maintain a bullet you dont maintain a bike, instead you maintain a lifestyle. It has its own issues, may be lots of issues; but people still fall for it. For quite some time in India this bike has had a larger than life image. There is simply no point in asking why.. this is just how it is.

I have 2 MacBook Pros at home, both latest models & at a price tag of USD 2200 for each; courtesy my wife.. I never fell for them as a hell lot of apps cant run on it, even to the extent of a global application like GMAT test exe. The maintenance costs a planet if something goes wrong after warranty. At times I have hated them & I have been more than happy with my Windows laptop at 1/3rd of my MacBook's cost.. But my wife loves them madly.. She just cant listen a word against Mac & I know she still would go out & buy when Apple launches a new product tomorrow. I learnt not to argue unnecessarily. Moral is; There is always a fan base & they are crazy about stuffs they believe in.

My Bikes:
Yamaha RD (The one which taught me what riding is; Can never forget this one)

Buddy.. Tell me one thing.. if anyone says P220 is much better than ZMR and why did you get a ZMR.. what would be your response to them?? and and if they ask why did you choose a ZMR over the Duke 200/R15/P220/RTR180? their performance is better than ZMR..

its preferences mate.. some people are die hard fans of Bullet.. the so called thumping sound.. the so called silencer beat (LMAO) the so called bhut bhut bhut..

I am a Karizma fan and I have been riding a Karizma for the past 10 years (Karizma 2003 - 2009) and ZMR 2010 till now... and I don't wanna go for any other bike nor any other bike has filled my requirements as the Karizma has nor I doubt there will be any.. I am a Die Hard fan of the Karizma from day it was teased with Hrithik zooming in soon ad..

I have my own preferences so I choose ZMR and I know other bikes might be able to out perform my bike in terms of acceleration, top speed (some claim P220s doing 155kmph and RTR 180 doing 164kmph )

Now when it comes to the power.. did you know that the RE can easily pull even when 4 people sit on it?? but on the other bikes.. they will find it difficult to pull..

I am no way a bullet fan and I hate that stupid noise it produces to the core so I always take up the tail position when me and my pals go for a ride.. and I maintain a distance so that I don't hear that noise.. and my friend with RTR listens to songs (though I ask him not to, he says he can't bear that stupid sound of RE) but on the mountains/hills, the bike seemed to pull effortlessly where I found some power loss in ZMR and in RTR.. that idiot just kept going and going without much strain to the engine where as my engine started giving the kat kat sound when the engine strains..

Just take for example the IPL matches..

People know how bad the Kolkata Knight Riders play and yet people love that team.. why?? and if you go to them and say the Team Sucks, why don't you support better playing teams.. what would be their response.. even if the person is from Delhi, Chennai, Pune, Kochi, Mumbai they might be a Kolkata Knight Riders fan.. they are crazy fan boys don't mind it as it is just an example

I think it is time we discuss ZMR and leave the rest of the bikes to the individual thread.....All of us are avid bikers in love with our machine ,and comparisons will only result in hard feelings which all of us don't want.....hope my request is in line with member's feelings.....
