Re: Hero Honda Karizma ZMR
Clean it @ every 3-4k and replace @ 10k kms. Did you change the spark plug yet? Do so every 12k kms and keep the older one as spare. With time, the spark strength reduces resulting in improper fuel combustion and hence, mileage takes a hit.Originally posted by antan_shank View PostI guess my 1st change was around 10k, but this might not even last 10k!!! as I am around 18500Km, id it normal or something needs to be looked into??Got a $5 head? If possible.. tey to reset the ecu.. in the sense.. remove the battery and leave it out for 30 mins and put it back.. this is reset the ecu and it will start adapting the way you ride.. not sure if this will help in FE.. will it Divya SharanOriginally posted by antan_shank View PostNo not yet, never changed spark plugs.... Re: Hero Honda Karizma ZMR
Avoid NGK Iridium. Its not worth it. You may try sourcing G Power plugs. Cost 140 a piece. Else, stay stock.Originally posted by antan_shank View PostNo not yet, never changed spark plugs.... What should I go for?? NGK Irridium ???? Or stay with the stock one? What will be th life of Irridium???
Depends. If a long relaxed highway ride is imminent, one can hard reset the ECU as mentioned. But, if you ride in city with a newly reset ECU, it'll in turn screw your mileage figures.Originally posted by rreneav1987 View PostIf possible.. tey to reset the ecu.. in the sense.. remove the battery and leave it out for 30 mins and put it back.. this is reset the ecu and it will start adapting the way you ride.. not sure if this will help in FE.. will it @Divya Sharan

PSD (110/90-18) On my Wheeler.... ZMR wwith PSDD rocks!!!!!!!
At last got my PSD from Kolkata after 4 months. Thanks Indo Radial Club.... If required I can post the address and contact number.
Pics are as follows: (Sorry for the bad quality)
Expirence:
1. Great presence with the road, feels like its sticking to the road.
2. Increased the breaking ability by many times.
3. Pickup files more, touch more than 80km/hr at 5K RPM. Though I am not sure about this. This was not the same for with the stock tyre. its about 77-78 Km/hr....
4. Traveled 190Km without a single stop, mileage almost 35KM/L.... Speed more than 95KM/hr minimum and maximum 115KM/hr. Average around 100KM/hr.
5. ZMR with PSD rocks....
