It is a direct fit.. i used a 110/90 -18 from IRC and i didn't face any issues.. but I guess Veryhiphop probably has a slightly bent swingarm or needs a bit more aligning..

                    About chain guard.

Aneesh used chain guard and his chain was replaced around 16k kms.

Me use Enticers chain guard, and still running on the stock chain, I dont know how many kms I've done due to speedo issues, but even yet the odo reads close to 30k now.

The reason I compared myself with Aneesh is because both the bikes have been ridden by 110+kg riders, with pillions weighing anywhere from 90~110kgs as well.

So I hope you get the point. I dont clean my chain, will lube it when it makes noise, using SAE90 gear oil.

                    About cleaning filter.

Mix some detergent in warm water and dip the filter, let it remain for a while, till all the muck comes out. Let it dry under the sun or ac. Plonk it back on.

                      Completely OT.

What? Aneesh weighs 110 kilos! Looks tall n lean. Damn his deceiving pics.

Oh No.. How could I have missed that?? or didn't I? That was just a sarcasm bro.. hehehe..

taking care of the chain set does matter.. no matter if its open or closed.. if you lubricate the open chain whenever needed.. its not gonna die off.. now the difference between open and closed chain is that.. if its open, we know if its dry or not and we can lubricate the chain as and when required.. if its closed.. we Lazy people don't care for the chains as we don't know whether its requires lubricating or not..

Now this is not what Veryhiphop is doing, is he?? he is cutting off the inside of the chain guard.. which will cause the dust/water during rain/ mud etc to be pushed into the chain guard from the tire.. causing it to dry or even possibility of getting rusted too.. he will nt be able to see the condition of the chain.. and leaving some part of it open will only worsen it... this is what I meant to say..

Correct me if I am wrong..

Open/closed, lube it every 500 kms. More often in rains.

yes tyre shop owner has said that no chain cutting required....even when i get it fitted the shop owner was saying no modification need and same has been confirmed by many owners of ZMR here...

It was fine for two days...and just need a alignment....

Well i bring back chain cover with no cutting...will be going to a private bike service center to get it adjusted....
