Anybody here needs, black mirrors of ZMR I have a pair.

The reason behind selling is that I brought to fix it on my cbr250r used for 2 months, but the rear view is less when compared to stock. Hence I have shifted back to stock Mirrors.

Anybody needs/wants please PM. I will be giving them half the price which will be 400rs.

I never had that luck to own a ZMR made by hero honda, but I have ridden one.

So will comment a bit on it.

ZMR is a top notch bike in its category. No matter how many bikes come and go. ZMR will always have that special effect on the rider.

It is very calm and composed and can take you to places without fail and hassle free.

Before I purchased the cbr250, I owned a pulsar 220 and before that a pulsar 150 and before that a splendor and before that chetak.

As you can see, I never got to own a japanese motor until the CBR250 and now I feel what a Japanese engine is. CBR250R in many ways is an extension of the ZMR but officially cannot be called the extension as the cbr engine is built from scratch. But we all riders know, deep down CBR250 is an improvised extension of the ZMR.

I am not a HP and torque addicted, all I need is a bike which is hassle free and easy to putter around, be it city and touring and I can say ZMR and CBR both sits there in that hassle free zone. I have ridden many bikes, but no bike has a complete package like the ZMR and the CBR250 has.

I have been following, [MENTION=41586]Divya Sharan[/MENTION] thread on the ZMR and [MENTION=26407]aargee[/MENTION] experience on his CBR which might have completed 90k kms by now.
All I can say in the end is that a "honda is honda, nobody can beat its bulletproof reliability" and I swear by it

Post splitup, HERO motocorp has screwed the iconic bike in INDIA very much badly.

Cbr mirrors will cost you around 970rs for a pair. And yes the ZMR mirrors were a direct fit on my CBR and they looked damn hot on my bike but was not very much functional regarding rearview. They had around 70-80% area of the rearview covered because of the shorter stem. The cbr mirrors has longer stem, hence no compromise in rear view.

After many many months of wrong diagnostics and parts unavailability, I'm now truly enjoying riding my ZMR to the core!

5 year old bike with 31K on the odo had no major issues but only vibes and some sound from heated engine. Took me ~8,300 rupees and logs of PITA to bring her back to perfection.

Here is a brief on the work - Note that the complete work was done in 2 phases, 1st the General service where engine sound was falsely diagnosed to be a result of low oil level, and 2nd phase for most of the parts replacement work.

Cam Chain Kit (Cost 1,250/-) [A result of false diagnostics for rockers sound, was not needed and returned to me. But as the SVC from where I purchased it refused to take it back, I asked my mechanic to replace it anyway.]
Rockers - 640/- [Probably the culprit to the sound from the engine]
Adjusters - 50/- [For new rockers]
Camshaft - 1300/- [Mechanic told this was the main reason as it was worn out and blacked]
Chain sprocket kit - 993/- [Needed as chain was jumping]
Air filter - 222/- [needed since not replaced since long]
spark plug - 70 [needed as not replaced since long]
breaing ball radial 180/-[needed for stabilising front wheel]
Front wheel Dampers - 222/- [needed for stabilising front wheel]
Front Ceat tire 1600/-[needed for stabilising front wheel]
SVC service chrgs, labour chrgs, consumables - 1500
Tip to mechanic - 400/- Most important and rightly deserved!

Yes, after the first phase (general service with wrong diagnostics) I handed him a tip of 200/- and when I came back with the same old engine sound and body vibrations complaint, he was a different mechanic altogether. He worked a full day only on my bike to replace the above parts and also re fitted the fairing specifically after adjusting the screw hinges! I handed him 200/- more.

The only thing that still remains is the rear tyre. I'm still hunting for a 110 section PSD.

So the CBR's RVMs are direct fit on the ZMR eh?? That is cool.. I guess I will be getting the CBR's RVM fitted on my Black Pearl

Yes, it will fit. RVMs have no changes.
