    Venky bhai,

The spares price are going to be the same across the city all over India. Please try a diff SVC.

The actual price of the oil coolet has already been discussed in the previous pages of this thread. Check it out.

    Cheers,

      Yes Sanjay,
rreneav1987 mentioned that the price of oil cooler was Rs. 1000 in Delhi two years back. That is why I am asking you guys.

I have planned to do performance modifications for my ZMR. Race concepts, Bangalore is offering big bore kit (235 cc), high lift cam, tuned FFE, etc., for ZMA and ZMR. Have anyone tried that? I tour a lot.

        Hi Divya,

Finally going back to Bhilai from Hyd.. The SVC again told that everything is fine and also the service engineer has visited to svc for checking my bike.. he tested armature and rr unit.. says everything is in perfect condition. Might be because of battery fault is wat the engineer says.. also i have fitted 4 horns on my zmr.. 2 stock n 2 boisch ones without relays.. is that causing the problem? ? Btw the good news is my bike is fine as of now but the same svc got one more yello zmr with same copy issue.. so time to have a ground test with gauge wires on that zmr tomorrow with the svc guys as per your suggestions divya.. thanks a lot.. 4 horns? Hope all 4 doesn't honk at a time !! With a 55w bulb (if you're using) then even stock dual horns are excess load.

Well, as Shreeni mentioned; you have a setup that can put excessive load on the battery and electricals. Get a relay each fit for the extra horns as well as the 55w bulb.
            Got a $5 head? Get a $5 helmet.

Sorry, this is not you have asked!

I suggest you to try Michelin sirac tyres. Those tyres have excellent dry and wet traction, good braking ability and somewhat heavier and sturdier which are resistant to puncture. I have used it in my Xtreme and satisfied very much. No puncture in its lifetime. Stop. There are some negatives as well. There is some prominent road noise and the flick-ability of the bike get affected. You have to use some muscle to lean into corners and tends to straighten ASAP.
Well, front tyre was never a problem. The stock MRF zapper never troubled, so I expect similar, if not better performance from this CEAT front tyre.

It is the rear which I'm very choosy about. A soft compound wider profile is what I'm looking for. I may now shift my focus to searching online. I wouldn't go for Michelin as there are more fakes than genuine in the market.

As for genuine tyre, search for their website and then locate the dealer. In the dealer point check the tyre for manufacturing details. Check for side wall stiffness. I have used around 3 sets of michelin tyres, all of them performed well. AFAIK there is no need to upsize from stock one, michelins are soft compounded tyres and offer exceptional grip too.

Michelin Sirac is different from Michelin Sirac Street. There is works difference between them. Sirac Street is not even close to Sirac.

No stickers, no tank lids, no sensors and not even the rubber bushes for the bolts. Just a plain metal tank..

                          Hey Venky,

Can you please remind me over the next weekend. I will get it checked from here.. I will PM you my mobile number..

My advice. Stay away from Race Concepts or any performance modifications.. especially if you tour a lot.. There are lots of failures than success when it comes to performance modifications.. and just think about it. If you get stuck in the middle of nowhere with an Engine failure?? don't want to be in that situation, do you??

Thanks a lot, it was really helpful. My friend had to replace the tank & the service guys have used the stickers from the old tank. As its a white ZMR, it looks awkward. Moreover the rest of body colour looks pale in comparison to the new tank, Any solution?
