    The oil cooler itself is painted black. Does the black paint hinder cooling capability. Its my doubt.

                  You heard it incorrect.. the Oil cooler radiator of ZMR 2 yrs back cost my friend less than 1000/- and no way it can cost you more than 1500/- now.. get it checked at a different ASC... if not. I will source it for you from Delhi..

                        Not sure about IS, but WAS until 2013 when a friend needed one. CBR250R lock set was 12k, is 6k now. ZMR's was 11k.

                          For cbr it is still 11,500 rs. I checked it at service center yesterday.

                                I will once again check in other SVC. I too was shocked after hearing the price and double checked with the lady in the spares sales counter. Although I will check once again. And if it is the same I will tell you. Buy me one.
