Wow, congrats on your 1st anniversary! Some really impressive numbers out there!
BTW 33k on gear? Did you go for riding pants and boots as well?

Biking is not about how many Km/h you put on your Speedo. It's about how many miles you put on your Odo. Ride Safe, Ride Long!

I am using it on my Black Pearl.. not on the car I love the sound and its good enough that people leave way for you to passby thinking its a car..

Using it for 1 1/2 years and its going good.. (touch wood) and make sure when you get your bike water-washed.. ask them not to focus the pressure gun anywhere near the horn.. else the life of the horn will be less..

If you are looking out for aftermarket horns, do check out Minda twin horns (K125 vibrosonic). The Hypertone is also a good option. Cost around 450-500, the sound is more like a Bullet horn or a Bolero or a SUV. Louder than stock any day. Using it and pretty satisfied so just thought of suggesting
The cons? Draws too much power, can be a drain if used too frequently.

Nope.. the battery doesn't drain unless you keep honking like a crazy man

How did you run Airhorns on a bike? Can a 6AH battery handle the load?

I used to use Air Horns on a splendor too in the year 2002 I used a 9AH battery on the ZMA.. had to charge the battery once every 3 months though.. but nothing is near that horn.. though it is banned and illegal in India these days.. I still have them in Chennai.. thought if fitting it in ZMR but i already have battery issues so I decided not to

Hey Folks, Got back my ZMR from SVC today morning.. had one service engineer from HMC to come & check my bike personally in Millennium motors yesterday.. The bike feels literally different now; The stupid kat kat noise gone, vibration reduced & I feel as if it has been repacked with some extra power & is asking me to unleash the true beast out of it For the first time since I bought it in Jan, I can now feel like truly falling in love with it.. !!!

                            My Bikes:
Yamaha RD (The one which taught me what riding is; Can never forget this one)
Bajaj Caliber (The one closest to my heart; I still have it after 15 yrs !)
Yamaha R15 V2.0 (The best I had; Ah it let me become the college hunk I once used to be :) )

They say the noise was coming out of the rear wheel bearing & they replaced it with a new one.. I also confirmed it with the HMC engineer.. But not sure if they have changed anything else..

But whatever they did, this time they didn't charge me a single penny; Infact they added 200 bucks of petrol as fuel level was surprisingly low when i took the delivery.. I must say am impressed with HMC's prompt & effective response after I contacted them on the overall issue..
