Hi all.. so finally after 6 months i got the rr unit for my zmr. Replaced the same from svc, but still retained the same issue of not charging. Then i left my bike with the svc n after couple of days they said that the bike is now perfect n is charging the battery as well. Even they said no need of replacing any parts as it was just that the connections were loose n they have sorted out the issue. hence for test riding the same i asked my dad to ride the bike for atlwast 1 week continously beforw i can take it to hyderabad from bhilai. But to my bad it again had the same issue after 5 days of driving and the battery again got discharged. What could be the fault guys?? Now I'm ao much fed up that thinking to drop out my Jigar ka Tukda...

Take it to hydrabad by train or other alternatives. Find a good ASC. 6 months and the service folks did not figure out the issue?!

I have checked with ASC(suguna automobiles, coimbatore) once again, they are selling it for Rs. 13000/- only. Aditya twowheeler spares, coimbatore, a multi brand parts store selling it for Rs. 6500/-
Can you check the price of oil cooler there and if possible source it for me. Thanks mate.

Take a thick gauge wire and run it from the battery negative terminal (apart from the regular connections - this is an add-on) and connect it to the engine mounting bolts. Hence, one end of the wire would be at the battery -ve and another at the metal bolt outside the engine. Now, get the battery charged externally and ride.
Keep checking the voltage across the battery every day at idle and at 4000 RPM (in 1st gear on the main stand) - use a multi meter.

Additionally, I'd advice you to get the whole electrical circuit cleaned with WD40 once to get rid of rust formation. Re-tighten and seal all joints and connectors. Replace all the fuses if needed.
                    Report back in a week!
                    Got a $5 head? Get a $5 helmet.

Divya will that additional -ve wiring help ?? what difference will it make to the existing set up ?? To be frank I'm really pissed off the way SVC guys are handling this. Also is there any fault in the existing wiring because of what you are advising for an extra connection ??

It's actually a ground mechanism. It's a fail safe mechanism. Usually with time, the ground develops a resistance due to atmospheric elements/rust, this method would simply negate that! With your update, I feel that the components are fine, there is an issue with the circuit. So, I suggested you step 1 of the troubleshooting process.

Yes, I think. Are the metal tubes of the inlet and outlet of the cooler detachable?

                              Hello Folks,

It's been long time I haven't post anything on xbhp.

So came up with few queries as below:

                              1. Weight of front fairing including head light assembly?
                              2. If i remove front fairing what would be the impact on all sensors and FI mechanism? though i am still considering keep the stock console as it is.
                              3. Impact on radiator? heating issue on removal?

                                Welcome back sir jee!

                                1. Roughly 7-8 kg.
                                2. No effect. Just ensure you build a waterproof casing for the console and tape all connections.
                                3. It would actually perform better. Would get more dirty too though.
