Hey guys.. The piston slap issue got worse and i decided to take to the ASC. Engine was opened up.. valves and cylinder set were worn out. There were scratches along the cylinder wall which can be seen in one of the pics..
The cylinder and piston set cost about 3250. Overall engine work with labour comes to about 5000.
Along with these, getting the key set changed and the cone set too.. So its like getting a new bike. Lol!
And divya bhai, where are you? Its been months since we met.. shall give you a call on Sunday. Will be near our mech to change the oil.. hope to see you then!
Change the clutch plate and pressure plates. Engine will get more torque. The worn out plate will get damaged real quick.
Ok bro, thank you! Nulon was able to push it for almost 1.5-2 years, but not anymore! Would you recommend using it with this new kit? I use shell semi-synthetic btw..

If you can get your hands on Veedol Swift, it would do wonders...

My first bike. Stepping into the 6th year today. The one I dreamed to get and after 5 years I earned and bought in my salary.
Sadly its not in my apartment now. A friend crashed the front left fairing few months back and its waiting replacements in his place.
Every time I bought a new bike, my brain said to sell it but my soul said NO.
Facing issues. In end of April has gone with major parts changed i.e Rocker, Cylinder kit, valves and other. Thereafter bike was running fine...smooth...pickup increased.....then after 60 days...engine again become harsh and sound start appearing from engine. Went to SVC; mechanic told yes there is noise and he reopened the engine..found rocker and camshaft is not as it should be....not sure was it issues with new parts (quality down) or something else.
They again replace parts and I take delivery. I notice that engine is making hell of a heat, hipcups at constant speed, engine rotation noise is different and not smooth (like rpm going down/up). Left bike yesterday again with SVC....they will let me know the status today evening...
checked the bike today...still having issues....mechanic not able to understand and fix issues....any suggestion?
They just grind the valves and set the tappets. This resulted in less noise and pickup increased...but heating is still there with smell of oil....and engine rotation noise is different and not smooth (like rpm going down/up) in cold engine...

Uploaded a Video. This is almost same issue I face 4 year back...that time too mechanic open the engine and replace the parts...
Hear the engine sound and how the RPM get up-down accordingly. This only happens when engine is cold...after 2/3 km of ride...problem does not appear..

Well, the sound is a bit off and that may be due to engine parts wear or due to the way you park your bike on the center stand.
Trust me, eliminate all ifs and buts.
1. Do NOT park on a concrete ground. Prefer a softer ground for this test.
2. Open the fairing as well as RVMs before hand.
3. Ensure your foot rests do NOT rattle.
4. Locate the noise source. You may not find any sound at all. I found out this way. My fairing has broken in a couple of places that sounds vaguely similar to this, but sound heard on headphones can't be trusted fully.
Try the above test and see.
But the RPM flickering is absolutely normal. Mine quickly flickers between 1200-1600 RPM for the 1st warm up period in the morning. After a couple of km, it settles down at a constant 1400 RPM.
Got a $5 head? Get a $5 helmet.
Because everyone who passes, isn't a martyr!

First thing is issue has appeared after the engine work was done.
Engine is heating a lot and oil smell is coming.
Some other problem was there but now they are fixed.
Having a sound from fairing...but that it is from long time...not after engine work....
