  • Re: Hero Honda Karizma ZMR

I've replaced my right side cowl with a new one I ordered from the SVC. Cost Rs.2022/-.

Also super-glued the two plastic pins emerging from the headlight assembly which must have snapped during the accident.

While installing the lower cowl below the headlight I found one screw slot on either side which I fail to understand what for. The screw slot for the plastic strip below the cowl are just beside it. Can somebody shine some light on what those two screw slots take in?

The hole on the left is for the lower fender plastic plate. The whole on the right is my bother. It reckon it's the reason my lower headlight cowl vibrates.

The hole on the right has a holding thread behind it and takes a screw to firm up the cowl below the headlight. Got it done.

I am also planning to replace the complete fairing with new due to vibration. The joints/holders of fairing are in bad shape...otherwise whole faring does not have a single scratch. Will try to replace in Insurance.....

Super cool. Ride safe. One suggestion. Remove the lower part of the fairing...

Went on a quick ride today. The journey was pleasant through villages. There was no network connectivity and it was fun navigating without maps, relying on just my eyes and mind to remember which route went where.

I always do same. I never rely on maps. But on eyes, mind and all.
In fact prior to these maps people used to do that only. With the advent of smartphones people have stopped using brains.
