i too have slight fairing noise but my problem is vibration at 110+ speeds. at 110+ my bike's handle bar vibrates so much that i cannot hold it, and there is some noise at the engine when i accelerates sound comes like charrrrr i guess it is from timing chain and again tappets are loose for the 3rd time looks like SVC is shit here....Originally posted by Above_All View Post

U can try LED turn indicators on ZMA/ZMR....but it will not turn on/off..reason being the Relay and circuit for this on/off function is load sensitive.ie., if you reduce the lamp load it will not blink at all....try changing one bulb to 12 V 10 watts and see(stock 12 V 21 Watts)...Originally posted by amit_rulz View Posthey dude...i had 1 question, cant we use LED's for all 4 indicators, 2 pilot lamps & brake lights in zma? This is weired that handle bar vibrates . I dont have any of such vibration , noise problem . Yes i got mine in real early @ 1900 km . Changed under warrenty but my bad i havent there while changing pads , so not seen whether they are of Nissin or other but the packing bag is of HH & price on it is 1090 rupees .Originally posted by rakesh_zmr View PostChanged my rear disc pads today at 15000kms, a bit too early...

1) Fairing noise => Check all nut bolts & rubber packing at petrol tank. At the time of servicing mention the problem & force mechanic & Workshop Supervisor to completely refit the fairing.
2) Vibration at 110+ speed => It is called as bubbling. It happens due to front wheel out. Alloy wheel or tyre is out.
If alloy wheel is out then make the allignment ( ON MACHINE ONLY. DON'T LET THEM USE HAMMER ) . They will make slight adjucement in the silver colour H shaped joint in alloy wheel. Reason of alloy wheel out is roughly driving bike on damaged roads & jumping on speedbreakers.
If allignment is not help then get it replaced under warrenty.
If tyre is out then reasons are manufacturing defect or excess of air. For manufacturing defects get it replaced .
3) Charrrrr sound on accelerating => R U Sure it is from Engine ? Is you accelerating in right gears ? Sometime we cant remember in which gear we are driving. ?And if are at speed of 40 in 3rd or 4th gear & then accelerate bike , sound will definately come.
I got something similar sound but mine was due to silencer muffler fitting. If any of silencer nut is loose the same sound comes. I got it fixed after refitting the muffler.
For problem 2 go to some tyre puncture shop & tell him problem , let him check & get his solution on it . If there you have to get something replaced from HH you havent made any modification to stock bike as per heir conditions . so if you have the tyre changed to that m45 or any other remove it & fit the stock mrf & get it to svc for further process.
For problem 3 i suggest you to go to any good reputed private garage & let him check the charrrr sound & get his opinion. ( Just opinion , dont let him play with engine, bike. cause they are not trained for ZMR ) And tell his suggestion to svc when you go for servicing.

they completely refit the fairing after tightening the tappets but i guess they donot do it properly in lko but in varanasi SVC it is made like new.

when i wash my bike's rim that H shaped joint some times move disturb the balancing. i guess thats the problem. will check that.

the charr sound is from timing chain when ever i rev the bike from still ie on lower RPM and tappets gets loose whenever i try to rev hard my bike even once. this the 3rd time, the tappets are loose and im fed up of this...

Got a Xena Security lock with Alarm for my ZMR... Got an Yellow color to match my bike.
The device is pretty good and really damn tough for the thieves to open it.
Will post my review soon after a few days usage..
BTW I also got Icon gloves to use with my ZMR. With the gloves I couldn't easily get to the horn and it is not really very comfortable. Is it because I'm using it for the first time?

The best option is to go for Yamaha R15 rather than ZMR since on ZMR there is no upgradation on Engine,Chassis and suspension wise rather than cosmetic changesOriginally posted by anmol_1990 View PostThis thread is dedicated to the owners of karizma zmr bike........
