Roadtrip to Wayanad via Coorg
Have successfully completed a loonnngg journey in my bike
Covered 1438 Kms in 3.5 days..
It was a journey from Chromepet, Chennai to Wayanad, Kerala via Coorg, Karnataka
It was indeed an amazing journey through almost all types of roads ranging from smooth national highways, crowded state highways, mountain ranges, roads through forests, pot holes, no roads etc...
Went as a group of 6 riders in 5 bikes (My ZMR, 2 Yamaha R 15's, an Unicorn & a Bullet) & came back home yesterday morning by 4:30 AM.
ZMR revved all the way without any hassles & was a proud biker among other bikes
Bike trip in brief
Day1: Chennai to Krishnagiri -> 270 kms
Day2: Krishnagiri to Madikeri, Coorg ->368 kms
Day3: Madiekri to Wayanad ->125 kms
Day4: Wayanad to Chennai ->675 kms (My personal record for a single day)
Photos very soon..Faster, faster, faster, until the thrill of speed overcomes the fear of death ~ Hunter Thompson.

ZMR engine making noise
Guys I'm a little worried about my ZMR I have done around 4500 kms and the
engine started making clicking noise when I suddenly revv it up while driving
the noise is coming from the engine and the past 1000kms I revved my bike
really hard taking it to 110 all the time now this noise started to come
A friend of mine who had the same bike doesn't complain about this noise but in his
opinion they are just loose tappets but the bike has only done 4500kms
are the tappets supposed to be loose like this after few hard revv ups and
if tappets are making noise should I get them adjusted I'm really confused here
I also own a bullet 350 std I revved it hard all the time but this issue
never came apart from oil leaks bullet is bullet is guess please help if
anyone experiencing the same issue

I too faced the same problem, but after 7k kms. the SVC guy said the same thing that tappet loose. but after tightening the tappets also the noise remain so the SVC guy told me need to change the Cam Shaft of engine, so they changed it, after that the noise was totally gone, but again i am facing the same noise, i went back to SVC, they said tappet loose, then they fixed it, but i am still not satisfied as i am still hearing the noise....Originally posted by Karizma Fan View PostGuys I'm a little worried about my ZMR I have done around 4500 kms and the
