thanks man....will be getting the chain set and tyres changed before i hit for the next trip in the next couple of days.

Btw...i also see a small glitch in my speedo...the numbers are not constant even though the RPM is stable. The numbers keep floating between +2 or -2 kms, doesn't matter what speed i am on. Any body else experienced the same problem like this...?

                • help!

                  hey guys,

I'm Jagjot from Bangalore, My ZMR is about a year old (will be in about 10 days) have ridden about 15k kms in the past year.

had given the bike for its 8th service last week when the supervisor told me at delivery that my chain sprockets need changing as they have gotten weak and he told that i can do this in the next service. He also said the bike is safe to run but only thing is that it will make a slight sound. (this was there before i gave the bike for the service also and its not the fairing - while riding if i pull the clutch you can here this khar-khar sound)

Anyways, so i decided that i would have the sprockets changed now itself. But i can seem the find the parts anywhere. My service station guy has been saying 1 day more then 2 days more. During this time i have called up all the major hero honda A.S.S. ES (pun intended ) and asked no one seems to have the sprockets in stock.

I even went to J.C. Road today, asked at 3 authorized HH Dealers they said they havent gotten stock from HH for the past 3 months.

Am quite disgusted with hero honda, as they charge 1.1 lakhs for the bike (and i have 2 zmr's at home - 1 mine and 1 my dad's) but something as simple as sprockets are not available when you need it. But i guess nothing can be done about this.

Could anyone help me? where can i find the sprockets.. also i don't care if they aren't hero honda.. i just want my bike running like normal again.

                  Thanks in advance,

                  Jagjot.
