These are tubes meant to ventilate the inside of headlight..when in use the headlight generates heat which must be allowed to ventilate, and hence these tubes..they are made into a U shape so that water spray during wash or rain cannot get into the headlight reflector area...Originally posted by Dan_GP View Post

Thanks for the info. very useful...Originally posted by psr View PostIt is the bank angle sensor .Here are some links about it..

I think bolt plays a important role because when a bike fall on a certain angle...inside ring move from the original position and sensor activated and shut off engine...Originally posted by Shreeni0403 View PostBank angle sensor comes into play when the bike is tilted beyond 30 degree angle. (Lean angle of 60 degree)
But I don't understand what that bolt has got to do with starting the bike. I am planning to get rid of fairing soon, let me check when I open up the stuff.
God help me
Yes, i have seen it, recently when i change a headlight bulb of my scooter LML (new one)....i found the same thing...i was wishing the same to be in ZMR...but after the images posted by DAN....i make a guess and my guess is correct after your statement here..Originally posted by psr View PostHappy if what i post is correct and of use to members....

I feel there is a big difference in the material used in the disc pads...a few had reported poor braking with RTR pads compared to OE Nissin..Originally posted by manan3230 View PostHey Bikers

In fact when we tried the ZMA/ZMR pads on NINJA(they are compatible) the braking on the Ninja became pathetic . On replacing with OE pads the Ninja got it's bite back.

Hi,
one of the karizma owners is using a Pirelli SD 120/18 as rear tyre with some cutting and welding of chain cover.... can someone please post the pic showing the exact modification done...
Which is better michellin pilot sporty or sirac street for rear tyre... both in tubeless form..WARNING!! Objects seen in Mirror are Disappearing Rapidly!!!!!!

see this:
Spark Plug Diagnosis
lead fouling: yellowish brown ground electrode
abnormal erosion: melting metal
both are caused by lead in petrol...speed thrills but kills if you dont have skills

You are running slightly rich, and your ground electrode shows the plug to be in perfect heat range, and working at it's best...Originally posted by Dan_GP View PostThanks Mr PSR, valuble inputs..

Look at the ground electrode entire length..you will notice that where it is directly on top of center electrode,it has a different color, and after that it is reddish brown..this is a correct heat range...If the ground electrode was greyish ,and the heat mark was at half way mark then you should go for a colder plug.
Do you use old petrol ? ie., let the bike stand idle for some time/or fill fresh petrol once in 20 days or more ?
But as it is the plug is in correct heat range ,for your engine and driving style.Last edited by psr; 11-05-2011, 12:11 PM.When Was The Last Time,You Did Something For The First Time.

When i turn on the key all speedo things are working good , as i have around 6 liter petrol the fuel indicator shows 3/4 bars but as i start riding bike it starts blinking with only 1 bar as it indicate very low fuel , upon stopping same thing , but if i turn off the key & then turn on again it shows 3/4 bars , but as soon as riding starts same thing happens .Any guesses what the problem is ?
Svc guys saying might be problem in fuel guage , so need to check its calibration ( don't know how they gonna check or correct ) they will be doing it in next week . So if the guage is faulty , is they will replace it only or the whole tank
If only guage then is there any solution like 3 bond or other used to avoid petrol leaks from guage & tank joint

Thank you very much Sir, I thought I was running a little lean coz engine heats up more than it should and returning a whooping milage close to 50kmpl in long tours
Now I realized that I'm wrong..
I usually pump petrol on weekends, and the petrol station is very relible and I don't think petrol i old coz the bunk filled with vehicles 24 hours a day
And I noticed something, could be a dumb thing too, does ZMR engine sounds more tham other HH engines, like CBZ/Hunk, coz I feel ny ZMR engine noise is so much, even my friends' P220 is silent than mine.. Is this noise a common thing??
