Advice is a form of nostalgia.
Dispensing it is a way of fishing the past from the disposal, wiping it off, painting over the ugly parts and recycling it for more than it's worth.

The fake container is a reuse of the old container with new Good Motul sticker....so no way we can find out..best bet to go to the authorized distributor and buy, rather than from the retail shops.

          • A long wait finally ended....

            Hi All,

Today I am going to share something which i have felt for a very long time and never shared with any one but after reading all ownership pages of karizma zmr I got the courage to share and bring it out
I get surprised when people say they waited a lot to buy their first bike and used to complain why i din't get the parents who could buy me a bike. I was around 16 years old when first started noticing bikes as my friends could get them from their parents but for me, being from a lower middle class family never got such pleasure.
At that time I used to say to my self, may be i am too young to buy one. Forgot to mention, my love was CBZ at that time. It was most sexy bike on road at that time specially in black color. Then came karizma, i got completely mad at that bike. But again same story no money to buy bike. Then went to college for my bachelors/masters and used to get envy since most of guys coming on bike.
Now God was kind enough to give a chance to work overseas for 5 years. But during that period also i used to think to buy a bike but now education loan was eating up my salary. During my visit to home land I saw a bike tagged "karizma - ZMR", I was like speechless after seeing that beauty.
And decided on that day that the day i land in this country permanently i will buy this bike. So here I am landed last week permanently and bought my first ever bike that is too Karizma - ZMR and total waiting period was 13 years. And I am learning to drive a bike on my own bike now . Sometimes it worth to wait!!!!!!!!!

I wont be surprised if atleast 30% people in India belong to our category. May be some managed to get their hand on their machine in 5 years, 10 years and rest would say nahhh i am too old for a bike now
But for some it's like fulfilling a dream even if they could buy it after 10 years.

Only ICICI Lombard & TATA AIG have these feature.
They cover 100% on Plastics too.
                    Started around AUG-2010 onwards.
Since I purchased my Bike in MAY-2010 it was not in this scheme and had to shell a lot of Money during my accident in MAR-2011.

But have renewed it in the new scheme.
Policy Name is Nsure Plus from ICICI Lombard.

Please make sure that you have the ND Cover marked in RED Box.

I got my ZMR in Feb 2011 & insurance given by showroom people is Tata AIG , But there is no such "ND Cover" anywhere & the ASC guys saying only 50% on fiber parts . Is i got wrong insurance policy ?

Just the other day I was waiting at a signal and two old chaps were looking and discussing for long about my white ZMR Another day again at a signal a common guy on his bicycle halted on the other side and had a good glance of the bike moving back and forth till my signal turned green. Girls no exception even if they are school going Married ladies sitting alongside their husbands quickly have a good glance and some carry on gazing not bothering about their husbands keeping a check on them through the mirrors!

Most importantly white one needs utmost care and if you keep her dazzling other bikes needlessly to say stand paani kam..

BTW, was just wondering how would I keep my pearl safe in bad rains. Folks, is there something like a see through plastic coat that can be done and peeled off when not required? Do let me know.
ZMR is the sexiest bike , when i got it from showroom , i road it direct to my college first & upon entering in college i noticed that every guy having those high end bikes from other indian manufactures whith which they poses in campus got screwed by seeing the beauty of ZMR . And on each day i found that when i park it & go to lecture they come & do photo session .

If you want a proof how guys got screwed by Karizma's just check the thread on xbhp with name 'Is the Karizma losing its appeal?' there you will find all negative replies from guys who got hurt by the beauty .

Replace the words "I have to" with "I choose to" and notice the difference in how you feel.

It is nothing more than a resistor in series for the IAT and a variable voltage adjuster for the O2 sensor....The voltage from the IAT is altered by having the resistor in circuit, thereby fooling the ECU to think that the inlet air temp., is cold and dense, and thus making the AFR rich...With a variable resistor in circuit along with the O2 sensor the O2 signal is altered to make the ECU think that the combustion is full and lean, thereby increasing injector lift and or duration enabling AFR to run rich....
In both cases FE will reduce...these have been tried on cars and ,taken off due to reduction of FE and in cases soot on the spark plug leading to plug short...SO KEEP AWAY FROM IT.

Yes very true ABOVE_ALL and that the SVCs & HMC is actually messing up a good machine.

Mine is ICICI Lombard and have been confirmed by my ICICI Agent in SVC that it is only available in ICICI & AIG.
Even for that I have done it for my friends ZMR who bought from a different Dealer.

Actually PMed you my No & Mail ID
