Usually, there are 6 screws on the windscreen/visor, 6 screws on the meter console and 2 screws beneath the headlight, just behind the number plate that need to be tended to.
You should have gone for the double sided tape thing bro. I'm not sure how'll he clean the glue once its set.
Have you tried opening any screw after he glued the joints?

    OT:-
BTW, we stay max 2kms from one another and have never met. Shall see you by Nov end as I'm on my way to my native now. Are you talking about a mech with a small shop named Royal motors? The shop is behind Reebok showroom on New BEL road.
no it wasnt between the cowl and the headlight unit
it was between cowl and front fairing if we call it so
ya sure we will meet this month end,we can plan for a ride on that weekend
    and not behind rbk showroom
its inside msr nagar, dont know the shops name

I had previously thought of getting the PSD for rear and M62 for front.....but had PSD on a frens P200 and the tyre is prone to a lot of punctures...so got it outta my mind....!! Now ive thot of MRF Zapper Q 110 section for rear......so what should i do for front...?? keep the stock Zapper FS???? I dont want to compromise on my fuel efficiency and top end...so sticking to zappers...but if i dont have an option for front then il better stick to my stock tyres as of now and change them sometime later...!!!
      Suggestions please..!!!

Ok, lets meet then. I shall see where the glue has been applied. Quite curious to meet that mech as well. BTW, can you enquire him if he can get me a WD40 spray?

Front tire is quite decent. Put the same one even after replacing the old tire. You 'may' go for PSD, but yes they're puncture prone. But, I've been lucky in the 3100 kms so far. No cuts, no punctures.

Forget it...il better stick to my stock ones for a few more months till i finally get a good rubber...!! the worst mistake i did was dint get the M45 when i twas available.......!!!

And bro checked for your fireblade mirrors....dint find them here in Mumbai...!! and i asked whether it would fit onto the zmr....the guy said it has to be personally checked cause it has a wiring and a clip for the light to be attached so the whole setup should be compatible..!!!!

it is indeed the mistake you did. But never the less, guys who wanna change tyre from stock zapper should go in for pirelli sport demon 110 ..as good as m45... hope this helps

also remember, pirelli sport demon would not last as long as michelin m45 but they can last youa goood 18000 to 20000 kms depending on your riding. punctures depends on road conditions you ride on and not tyre specific.

another good cheaper option is geocruiser which used to come in older cbz from dunlop

Nice illuminating lights you got there bro! One question (may sound like an uncle preaching to kids) - Why're your RVMs folded?

                                On the mileage front:-
Highest ever achieved - 50 kmpl (320 kms trip where the max speed touched was 75 kmph and minimum was 50 kmph and the ODO was at ~ 1300 kms)
Lowest ever achieved - 33 kmpl in the first 500 kms.

After having completed 2000 kms of run in:-

Highest ever achieved - 49 kmpl (850 kms round trip with max speed upto 110 and average speed in the 70s)
Lowest ever achieved - 39 kmpl in Bangalore city (when ripped at 5k+)

                                My usual mileage figures:-
City - 40 to 41 kmpl (shift gears at 4k RPM. Might get more if shift at 3k. Not interested)
Highway - 45-47 kmpl (I never ride at more than 80% of the engines capacity for longer periods. Cruise at 80-85 kmph)
                                Got a $5 head? Get a $5 helmet.
