I dunno if its just me or the bike is revving up much freely than before some amount of engine oil was present in the air filter compartment and one of my friends mentioned that it was normal.

Btw, is there an oil filter for our bikes? Not the one with the drain bolt, but one that is housed in a separate compartment??
Nope. No such filter is present in our bikes..

This is how it looks on the clutch side of the engine. The mechanic told me that the small circular part just to the right of the clutch plate is an oil filter where the oil is pumped into that portion and the oil is filtered.. not sure if that is true. When asked if it needs to be replaced. He said nope..
Tell us how you managed to remove the screws from the air filter box

okay then will better go for G-Power ones
And yes I did read about this 8000k hid's cons in your previous posts but sadly that was the only option available here
and yup light is not so good although more than stock ones still am not satisfied
thats why I was asking can i change just the bulbs of hid from 8000k to either 6000k or 4300k???
Dr..the higher Color temperature Head Light Beam does not have the penetration in rain and fog . So you can opt for a 4,300 K HID bulb in place of the 8,000K..Take care to match the HID bulb's wattage..ie., if your present HID is 50 watts the replacement should also be of same wattage....

Karizma has a Centrifugal Oil Filter which can be seen to the right of the Clutch bell..The oil pump is below and behind it. By spinning the oil in closed area, the heavier dirt is spun outwards and caught in the space between the cover and the body....additionally we also have a coarse filter at the oil drain plug ...This combination ensures that the oil is always flowing and continuous lubrication is Guaranteed....but I had seen a SVC maintained engine having old oil GUM formation inside the engine, leading to Valve,Cam and rocker parts being destroyed...the old oil was not drained at 1,500 kms and only top up was done, leading to gum formation and blocking of the upper head lubrication...

rreneav1987 bro then I think it needs a replacement then. It's still stock right?? I'll replace it when I clock 15k on odo.

About the screw, me and my friend ( siddharthsure ) applied wd40 again and I took a smaller size screw driver, which was a perfect fit. It got unscrewed in two hard tries

previously I was using Waxpol PROTECTOL but It took much time to work with
but now due to lack of time am using Shine Express shiner-protectant because it takes less than a minute for the whole bike to polish with that.

waxpol i was not able to use on black parts of bike but this new one I can use anywhere in tyres also

Later received a message "Divya here, met with accident, need urgent help". Was puzzled a bit, and called back immediately. Then, I heard shaken Divya's voice that he met with an accident and that his elbow got dislocated. I got panicked, and I was not in Hyderabad to help him directly. Lot of coordination happened with so many calls, Divya started to Hyderabad in a car, left his bike there at a dhabha, and finally Jaijeet took him to KIMS for treatment. Srikirshna Das was in Yamaha service center to service his amitiel when I called. He immediately left the bike there, Deepan went to pick Srikrishna, and they rode to Kothakota (140 kms from Hyderabad) at night to locate the ZMR and bring it to Hyderabad. It was one hell of a ride for them, riding in heavy rain, trying to locate the unknown dhabha somewhere on highway, name and details unknown. Dhabhas were closed and it was pitch dark. When they almost gave up, they could find it finally. They rode back to home in rain at around 3 am in the morning. Meanwhile, Jaijeet was there with Divya attending to the hospital needs. He was discharged late night after the dislocated elbow was fixed and immobilized. Gaurav Kolte stayed for the night with Divya at the hotel.

The timely help of Jaijeet, Srikrishna, Deepan, and Gaurav is invaluable. Everyone has taken time out of their busy schedules, in helping a fellow biker. They proved that we bikers are a family and I am really proud of them.

Just rode @Divya Sharan's white pearl to my home from @HeartBrokenBiker's (Srikrishna) place, 20 kms. Left my ZMA at his place. All the while I wondered how Srikrisha rode the bike for 150 kms to get the bike from accident place to his home. The right side footpeg gone, and he rode the bike with one leg in touring position, and another leg in racing position (right foot on rear foot peg). :O My leg was paining just for 20 kms in that position.

Inspected the bike and these are my observations.

1. The right side fairing is intact, eventhough it received minor scratches. No rattlings were found so the joints are intact.
2. Right clipon bent. The bar-end weight also bent.
3. Right foot peg is completely gone and the brake lever deformed.
4. The silencer shield got scratches.

Apart from above, everything is intact. I left the handle bar at 40 and 60 kmph and the bike is going straight like an arrow, so bent forks ruled out. According to me, the damage is minimal comparitively. Once the foot peg is fixed, then the bike can be ridden without any issues.

Wishing Divya for his speedy recovery. Will be glad to see him on the bike again.

I'm glad that he didn't end up breaking any bones and the elbow dislocation could be fixed without having to open it up.
From what I hear from the people who kept his bike on the highway(laymen), if not for helmet and whatever he was wearing it was an easy death.
The dog died too.

@psr sir, engine oil in the air filter compartment is normal, or is there anything to worry?

Mild amount of oil in Air Filter box is normal...5w30 is not recommended for Karizma....you must be aware that the original recommendation was 20w40 due to the hotter climate we have...10w40 or15w40 is the ideal oil for ZMA engine...

Guys.. Another problem..

If I go beyond 50kmph and let go of the handlebar it starts wobbling, the bike doesn't sway though.. I haven't gone over potholes much.. Very few, 2-3 max.. But i do offroading everyday for around 10mins..

What might be the problem and how to rectify it?
