Coming to HIDs, I've used both 8000k and 4300k Chinese ones and trust me, they both are pathetic. When you are standing still, you feel impressed by the area illuminated but that's where the fun ends. Apart from looks, there's nothing.
Hence a query. Can i install a regular bulb in the existing projector?

Yes. You can. But doing a jugaad. It isnt going to be good unless you can get your hands on a p220 projector and the solenoidal reflector of p220 which is used foe high beam. It is a perfect headlight with the best luminosity

You know what bro these pics were released when i was preparing for PMT
To get into MBBS and previously since my childhood i always saw ZMA as my dream bike but these were the pics that changed my dream bike to ZMR and boosted me more to study bcoz I knew my dad will definately buy me one if I reach here....

Well, I had a Karizma 2003 back then in 2009 when these spy shots were spread.. I never knew I will end up in New Delhi as well.. All I knew was, I loved my Karizma more than any other bike though I wasn't much into bikes those days as I was just doing my college..

My brother's marriage was fixed and just 10 before his marriage just after I completed my BE in 2009, my dad got his promotion and had to move to New Delhi.. After bro's marriage, my dad shifted to New Delhi.. Meanwhile, I was enjoying.. my dad called and asked me to look out for buyers of both my Karizma and P180.. I asked why and he said I will have to shift to New Delhi and he promised me a new bike for which I suggested to sell of P180 and bring Karizma along with me.. He agreed to it..

later after i shifted to New Delhi, my bro was to send Karizma the following week but in-between dad said no, we will get a new bike and without my knowledge he sold both P180 and Karizma..

this was the period when Karizma ZMR was released officially in Sept 2009.. Orkut filled with loads of pics and I didn't have access to Internet.. I was dying to see the ZMR.. I knew few guys from Orkut who I met in New Delhi.. he took me on his Karizma to Vasant vihar Hero Head Office and we saw the bikes in person.. The bike looked damn sexy and I loved the Blue ZMR..

I somehow convinced my dad into getting me the ZMR and we went to the nearest showroom (after seeing the bike on display) which was just 100 steps away from the housing colony.. i wanted Blue and when asked for blue, they said the bike doesn't come in blue. it is just a show case model. I had an argument with the sales rep and dad said lets get out of here and we went to Yamaha Showroom. he was ready to book the R15 for me. I told him I want the Karizma ZMR only and we left home for the day.

I am not sure why, but the next day was horrible.. My dad saw an accident right in front of his eyes and he decided not to get me a bike, instead he gave me the keys to the car he gifted me for clearing BE I was all upset and had to lose the hopes of getting my new bike.. I finally got a job the following month and I started saving money.. After 5 months, mom, bro and me somehow managed to convince my dad into letting me get a bike but he said no Karizma.. a small bike (150cc) is sufficient

after a couple of visits to the showrooms made my dad get me the ZMR which is a longer story than this so I don't want to add to it

Used the Blue custom front fender and thought of getting it painted as the same color fender wasn't in stock anywhere.. later got a black fender and fit it before I could get the paint job done, we moved to New Delhi

Some spares I got for bringing the lost glory back to my ride.

P.S - Is this the correct cone set or should it be bigger? Sorry I can only browse via mobile for a few days and hence can't cross check the same.
Part number of the cone set I bought is 25K160S. Is this right?

Changed to motul 7100 10w40 from Ax7. Vibrations have reduced and gear shifts are smoother.
The bike revs much better than before. Also the sound had reduced a lot and the heat generation is reduced drastically.

My Bike has officially completed 43000 in 4.5 Years.. ownership has never been better. Planning for another weekend ride this weekend with 2 friends accompanied by another ZMR and P200NS..

Excited about the ride.. yippee.. by thw time i come back i would complete 44000.. wohoo.. and then she will take some rest for a month as I am planning to use my RX135 till i save money to get my BP fixed..

No that is for old Karizma, splendor, joy, passion e.t.c.

For ZMR it the new model with bigger racer having cage ball bearing. It is same for Glamor, CBZ extreme/ Hunk, Super splendor, splendor pro e.t.c

Thanks sir jee. My mech also said that I got the smaller kit. Gave my bike for full service. Prepared a 28 points list of things I felt wrong. He had this "are you crazy" look on his face while preparing the job card, he he.
Let's see the outcome once I get my kari back tomorrow.
