I don't think it is knocking sound. It will be there when engine is cold,I mean during first start in morning and then once engine heated,I can't get that sound.showed to SVC today,my regular mech said tappet is fine.He couldn't here as the engine was hot. Will show tomorrow morning again as I will keep my bike to overhaul front brake.

Every possible thing to bring it back to new like performance. Basically this was done to replace oil seals.

if you look into that hole (alternately you can remove this cover which is covering the Speedometer) you will find the adjust screw or bolt (in my case I have a screw. I will upload the pic of the headlight assembly after I reach home..

Meanwhile, I am quoting an old post

Rotating the above mentioned screw/bolt clockwise or anticlockwise will move the reflector up and down which in turn will move your projector up and down to help get the focus.

Hope this helps

Now my bike is as good as new. No khat khat sounds. It reminds me of initial days of its ownership when I used to silently putter around.
Used a Dazzler while kari was worked upon and loved it too.

Got the bike late last night. Cost me 3k but it's totally worth it.

Wonderful. I am going for a ride to Manali today with a friend with ZMR. 2 ZMRs. Mine is wounded a little. Once I come back. She is taking Bed Rest for a month or 2 and once i save the money needed, i will get things fixed. The rattling plastic sound is the most irritating of all.. will get them to remove the fairing and i will make those rubber washers mentioned by you earlier and arrest all that noise.. then check to see if the piston rings need change or the entire cylinder kit needs replacement. I am sure it is just the piston rings and oil seals which need replacement. Nevertheless.. i will save enough money before i get her opened.

Meanwhile during this time period, my RX comes to the rescue i will use my BP twice a week when going to gym

• Re: Hero Honda Karizma ZMR

I'd in fact be selfish if I don't thank experts here for relentlessly and selflessly sharing knowledge in the ZMA, ZMR and Splendor threads. I mean, I have so far read only 150 odd pages in the Splendor thread and roughly 1000 odd pages in both Karizma threads and I now have some idea of what's going on in the bike.

As I said, I had a 28 points exhaustive list for the bike's service this time around and I am glad that my mec dedicated 24 hours to my bike only. His sub-ordinates took others' bikes and they weren't even allowed to change the engine oil on mine!

Let me give a rough idea of what all was done.
Strip the whole bike, open the clutch assy for oil seals replacement, remove both wheels, sprockets, tank, fuel pump and get the whole bike a through wash and polish. Ya I got the chassis polished. [emoji3]

Then, work on the forks to check for play. Fork oil was replaced and then fork oil seals.
Wheel bearings and rubber hubs were changed. Axle cleaned and greased.
Engine mounts tightened.
Then sprockets were cleaned and greased and they still have life in them.
Both brakes were bled and replaced with new DOT 4 liquid. Brake levers changed to stock from my red adjustable levers since they'd developed a play after accident.
Air filter is only 5 k kms old, hence it was dusted (first by mild tapping, then by blowing pressurized air from the opposite side) and put back.
Spark plug wiped and put back. AFR was optimal. Its about 6k kms old.
Accelerator cable and clutch cables were cleaned and greased. They did not need replacement.
Throttle body cleaned of carbon deposits.
Cone set changed. I felt they could be repaired, but then I didn't want any more khat khat sound, so replaced them.
Rear disc spring mounted. Thanks Mr Lover Buoy!
Both discs opened and calipers cleaned/lubed. (Prior to bleeding obviously)
Front foot rest changed.
Windscreen changed (finally! - had cracked in the accident)
Engine oil replaced.
Tank was cleaned.
All pipes under the tank were cleaned.
Injectors were cleaned.
Then everything was assembled and the bike got another wash. Let it dry for an hour in shade (it was 9 PM by then he he) and then polished.

The outcome - Forget vibes, my bike doesn't even buzz till 90 kmph (didn't go above that while coming to office).
Acceleration has improved. I'd actually forgotten this feeling for quite some time and of late I felt that the pick up was low!
I was in fact so happy that I just wanted to get down at a particular signal and wanted to DANCE! [emoji3]

Better sense prevailed!

I recently changed to fully synthetic oil and it has started to leak..

Have you changed the O ring when you removed the Drain Bolt?? That would be the culprit. Else there might be a hair line crack on the drain bolt itself. You can get those 2 replaced without having to drain the oil..

No.. ask the mechanic to tilt your bike to the right and let it rest on the floor. Keep some thing on the floor so that it prevents scratch. It wont get scratched but its better to prevent.

Then remove the drain bolt and replace it.. oil wont leak so dont worry. I had to do this once when the fools hit the drain bolt with a hammer..
