Really fed up with my SVC...they are not able to rectfy the engine cold start issue nor able to rectify a sound coming from engine after heat up...they says its tapped and has been adjusted...but sound get increasing as i ride more....

Bro avoid the 100/90 halogen..it produces tremendous amount of heat and would burn the reflectors...and to be very frank it will not give you an output of total 100/90...the thing is your power output from the battery to the headlights will not be sufficient to glow the 100/90 halogen..and even if you use a relay it will suck in a lot of amount of battery...and with the zmr which is a lot relied on the battery for all its sensors and electricals you cannot afford to drain your battery!!..even with the 60/55 your are using it is the same thing...the bikes are made that they can just generate a power out put to efficiently glow a 35/35 bulb..so the rest of the amps can be utilised for other purposes like the sensor working...engine cranking and other lighting purposes!! and hence when we upgrade to a HID...we make use of a ballast...to increase the power output while igniting the HID and for power stability throughout the time when the filament glows...!!

Can we modify our headlights like that of p220, so that we can use projectors while still retaining the flexibility of switching between high beam and low beam.

you can go for bixenon HID....they have Hi n Low in the same filament...!!!

But what after using projectors, cz hid without projectors will blind oncoming traffic. I m not able to reply with quote, there might be some problem.

Can we fit two lights vertically in zmr headlight assembly, one with projector on low beam and one without it for high beam, like those in p220. Size of high beam casing can be compromised if required.

No as far as i know you cannot.. Even if you do, it will not be worth the trouble.. While i was buying hid for my ride, i came across dual-beam projectors.. In Bangalore.. starting price was 2.5k

Will hid with 55w ballast increase the light output and thus visibility at night as compared to a 55/60w h4 bulb I am currently using in zmr. The HID will be without projector. I am in doubt because i think the focal point of hid will be different from halogen bulb and the reflectors are designed according to the focal point of h4 halogen bulb. Can someone guide me on that?

Few pages back i've posted the beam spread of my hid without projectors. You can get a general idea os how it'll be. However am not sure about its intensity being more than halogen. Hids generally have more illumination compared to a halogen..

Today in fog at 12degree celcius, when I first cranked my zmr early morning, I noticed white smoke coming out of silencer. It has only clocked 4500km. Although I haven't noticed it during any other part of the day. Will check if it comes in afternoon also. What could be the possible cause of that white smoke?
