I think if its a faulty battery you should get it replaced under warranty. It will have atleast a year's warranty.Too early to fail!
What is MF type battery ??? No idea.

All I know is all ZMR's have Exide ETZ-7 battery.

Yes it is getting replaced under warranty.

            MF means maintenance free battery.

zmr has selaed battery which require no topping up, these type of batteries are also known as zero maintenance free batteries.

but some batteries have filler caps and still they say zero maintenance free battery but they have put an asterisk after sentence.

so when buying a new battery one should make sure whether it is completely sealed battery or an ultra low maintenance battery.

it will be considered a 2011 model right?
what sort of advantage do i get by doing this?
                AJAISWAL,
No advantages now since the Price has already gone up.
Make sure the Manufacture Year is 2011.
Take a note of Waiting Period @ the outset.

more inclined towards zmr...because of reliability, comfort, handling...(i think it has more dan enuf power, performance), safety( read abt pulsars being more involved in accidents)....
but now after reading a lot of reviews i am having 2nd thoughts about it...
confused...this is gonna be my 1st bike... and i cant afford giving time to sort out niggling issues (which is why i am not preferring pulsar)...
bt d 25k difference comes in....is it worth it?
besides ..i don feel a 4 kmph top speed difference...or 1 sec 0-100 kmph difference is of any importance...
guys please help me out on dis ...

Have fitted the AUTOCOP Remote which is perfectly OK till now.

about the the disc noise, you can just ask service center guys to open it up, clean pads and put it back..
                MOHSIN,
But REMOTE required in a Public Parking place. If done correctly no hassles.
                You can never go wrong.

I have completed 10000 kms on my ZMR. It was a great feeling viewing 5 digits on the total trip meter was making me so happy from inside.
10000 kms without any minor accidents at all, without even a sracth. Now that's really awesome. It took me 8 months to complete 10000 kms.
Maximum kms I did in a day was 420 kms when I went to Lavasa. Bike was simply awesome to ride in those twisting corners though I wish I had broader tyre. ZMR has always been a sensational powerful machine and very comfortable bike for long tour. Maximum speed that I have attained on my ZMR is 129 kmph. It is having a great fuel efficiency and make no mistake about it ZMR's fuel efficiency is the best in its class. I can bet anyone on that.

The only hick up I have had in this bike so far is Battery problem. This problem has been so bad that I have to push and start my bike now a days till I find myself a new battery.
                SACHIN,
Brilliant Effort and that without scratches. Incredible. Keep it up.

                • Hi guys,

Sorry for the late reply...have been busy with my ZMR running here and there...you guys know it well..everyone has gone through it...

                  About the tyre: its 100X90 - 18
                  cost: 2250 rs

but the guys here don't know sh** about fitting the tyres, even the service center guy ruined my rear disc, i had to go to borivali today to get it fixed..

the tyre looks thinner than the stock one, but the quality is 10times better, so i opted for it..anyone who wants the rear tyre to look bulky should go for M45 (just my opinion)

@moshin bhai: i cant thank you enough..u have been really helpful I think i should put 'Thank you mohsin ' as my signature
