    • one simple question, how do i turn the service indicator light off?
@terror - if the sc insists with TVS oil and you dont want to spend double, my suggestion is that you use tvs oil for about 1000k and then change it. still you will losing money but not double the amount.

Keep both the buttons pressed together for about 10-15secs. That should do the trick!

          • Best guys in Hyderabad to do the Mods for RTR

            Hey Guys,

I live in Khairatabad, Hyderabad. I own RTR 160 (1 Yr 9 Months old, 16K Km).

Any one give me some details where I can get the below mods done nicely,
            1. Replace the rear tyre with Zapper Q or Zapper C
            2. A K&N Filter and other tweaks to enhance the performance.
            3. Head lamp replacement with a better one.

The bike stopped, but just hit the van head-on. Did not fall down. Balanced the bike on my thighs. The front fairing has broken exactly where the number plate is mounted. No other scratches on me or the bike. The neck lock is a bit tight, but THANK GOD, thats it! Do u guys know if the fibre alone is available separately or the headlamp assembly has to be bought as a whole?
Partially my mistake as I should have been slower as its a blind junction and partly his mistake as he did not repsond to my horn and was also fast!!!
arrey yaar i thought you'll be doin it above 80 for sure..........

it's good to hear nothin happened to u and only fairing got broke...
you can get it without the headlamp assy easily.....

              @terror....
and this tacho thing happened to u too.......!!!!
m touching all the woods now!!!!!!!!!

if he still not agrees then go to a local shop and fill ur babe with the oil of ur choice...
he wont even know which oil is in there......trust me!!!!!!!!!!

                  • Hey guys today witnessed the horrible bike accident..brand new RTR refress slammed into old cbz.. in fact cbz was crossing the road and i was waiting for its crossing suddenly high speed RTR slammed into cbz RTR was about speed of 80km/h i guess. then RTR flies in the sky and went behind the cbz. front part of RTR was fully crushed and front wheel was also crashed. two boys in the RTR go around 5 fit far..two guys have broken leg.. and RTR rider has big wound in face..might be lot more there.the scene was not less than in film.i was with my mother.c now saying me stop riding bike.we were so frightened that cannot move from there. .
i had never experienced such live view of accident..

Is it advisable to change engine oils so frequently like that ?

You mean a knock kind of sound which comes from the engine and when u take off the throttle in very low rpm range, right, If your bike is a crab one then try to increse the idle RPM a bit, this may solve the problem.Try to set them at 1200-1300 range.
                            Thanks for the welcome

(what do you mean about a 'crab one'?)

The knock is at all levels of rpm - when the engine slows down so does the knocking just when I take the throttle off.

Keep my idle at at least 1500.

*any idea of me getting an Apache manual?
