Guys one funny thing are rather an attachment with My RTR.

Everytime i pick up the bike keys to go out my hand automatically picks up the RTR keys and its only when am going down the stairs i realise that i picked up the RTR keys instead of 220's and smile for myself.

Depends on the damage to ur bore. If the rings have created marks on ur bore's sidewalls and/or piston u might have to change them too.

BTW may we know how many kms u have done and what is the reason cited by ur service guys?

thnx man! i have done 37k kms.. and the reason they said is because of my high speed constant riding.. (100+).. i never thought this will give a problem in rtr, but hmm.. that guy looked like an amateur.. i will be taking it to service on sat to another shop.. lets see what he has to say!
A good long ride can clear your mind, restore your faith, and use up a lot of fuel.

Always be ready (get geared) to fall and then think of sitting on the motorcycle.

                      • Thought TVS Engines are Reliable(Fiero).Don't go for reboring(even if possible). If Cylinder walls are fine ,Change the Piston Rings. If the Cylinder is busted ,Get New Cylinder Kit(Check the posts of the Guy Who Fitted RTR 180 kit)
                        Get GNU/Linux

Also Does the O ring type chain requires to be tightened at every service?

This does not sound like a proper reason man..... If u had revved it too much without proper oil or used adulterated fuel or used and freeflow intake, this can happen. Try consulting other mechanics as well!

@Techno: Not every service, but yes it does require tightening!

                                they'll last till 15000kms...

and the chain is not adjusted on service to service basis, check the slack of the chain (not at the tightest point) and adjust it accordingly...
