Gear problem

HI Guys,

I fell gear shifting pretty difficult in my 3000 kms old FI, sometimes i have to stump the gear rod twice or thrice to shift the gear...its sticky, tight sometimes i feel its locked,,,,this happens all the time when the bike is running below 50 kmph... what could be the problem what should i do please help....

Also after 2nd service i feel the front brakes are lockin even i apply it vey light.. please advice on both of the issues

Finally found my toolkit!

I had opened up my RTR to use the toolkit for some minor job a couple weeks ago and to my surprise it wasn't there! So I immediately placed the blame on the service center mechs, and kept cursing them while I re attached the seat and panels, so today while cleaning my chain, I notice something between the rear inner mudguard (running besides the chain and the chassis and voila! there was my toolkit sitting smugly in that pocket! Took quite a while to get it out, (its not easy to slide your hand through those small openings) but I managed to get it out and decided to keep it out! TVS should have provided some sort of a cover or a latch of sorts to keep the toolkit stay in place because it tends to keep sliding under there (the stupid rubberband you get it with doesn't count).

But yea I'm glad I got it back.

ur guess raised my eyebrow that time too.....
i think if you'll hold that for few more mins like that it'll toch even 15000

Dude, change the engine oil,gear shift will be much smoother after that.If still persists after changing oil too, then check with SVC guys.Also change the gears at 4k -5k rpm

Hi guys. I have an apache fi , it has done 7500 kms. I will be changing my bike's oil in jan. I want to go for fully synthetic oil which is the best synthetic oil for my bike and hw much does it cost? hw is semi synthetic oi?? whts diff can i expect b/w FS and SS oil and which 1 should i go for?at how many kms should i change d tires of the bike?

u can go for a castrol power 1(Rs650) whch is fully synthetic which can run upto 4000kms max which is double of Tvs tru 4

which can last upto 2000kms max with rev rpms.

before changing the oil do we need to do someting (some call it flushing)
or can we just pour in the new oil
