thanks for the info! AFAIK disc plate is not a wear and tear consumable. but ya may be because of the worn out disc pads, the plate is gone.
and one funny thing! he has a chetak too
    pulsar 220 dts-fi clocks 145kmph!

the SAI is never is in airbox, that thing is located near the 'head' (you can see it in RTR180) and that's for greener fumes (by injecting oxygen or air in the exhaust to break carbon monooxide into lesser harmful carbon dioxide)

this is on the other hand for crisper inputs...

that thing will be putting more air in the mixture in sudden throttle inputs and in case of FI, isn'nt it's supposed to ''sense'' that the mixture is lean more than needed and should provide more fuel automatically???
that's i'm confused about cuz in carb we can do it ourselves...

        @ Renny-
The Bajaj's shitty exhaustec has evolved from this traditional intake buffer. That is just a plastic box. U can put in a cola can also in that place. today i tried removing this buffer and installing a filter at that place. the low end torque was way better (even better than Fi). But, at high revs, acceleration and power i felt was too low. Bike was strugling to touch 100kmph. Its obvious, as A:F ratio was lean. So, placed that plastic box back in place. Will try same configuration with inner filter removed and RTR180's 112 size main jet.

In case of Fi, Got to study ECU logic. Or you can try it.
There's lot to it other than saddle....

Biking club in faridabad can be from sec-16, as I saw some boys stunting togather. But if you like we can have our own. I have a name too (Speedy boyzz ) !!

Isnt it the job of SVC to check brake pads at every service for every customer? I mean a customer may not know without seeing indicator on brake pads whether its time to change or not.
Maybe people are still arent out of the phobia that bike may do a stoppie if they use only front brake, F R ratio should be 60:40 right?
So, it is time your friend learns to ride the bike like an RTR and not like a Chetak.

Heck... that's funny. But that is a fact so he better adjust his braking style.

Yes, it is the job of the SC guys to check the pads at every service - even if not for the customer, for selling more spares to the customer. But how many chances do we give them to check that? Once out of the SC, we see their face only at the next service. And we burn out the pads very quickly too. In fact, it is more an owner's job than the SC guy's job. All listed in the manual.

Maybe people are still arent out of the phobia that bike may do a stoppie if they use only front brake, F R ratio should be 60:40 right?
Haven't you ever heard a discussion on "why the bike makers are giving disc brake in the front??? it is a waste and makes us fall. they should give it on back brake so we can brake confidently" ???

Good. But useless oil in comparison to its competition. And the competition was already costing Rs 30 less anyway.
